What is going on? My deposit is missing but was sucessful hours ago. My money is in limbo. This is UNACCEPTABLE. No response from support. I am closing my account and getting all funds off as soon as possible. This is the worst service, borderline scam, of any exchange I have ever used.

You just lost a long time large volume trader. Getting screwed by you guys on a weekly basis is not going to happen anymore. My business will go elsewhere.
LOL, seems you aren't for long in crypto space. Kraken is very good despite all these problems. They don't steal unlike Bitcoin7, Gox, Vircurex, Cryptsy, ..... I also made a deposit which doesn't show in my balance, but I know it'll eventually get credited.

Kraken's reply on my ticket wrt the issue of disabled deposits and withdrawals and my deposit not credited:

The XMR deposit addressess which disappeared, came back, but still there is no sign on the xmr I deposited. No any status, no any incoming transaction, nothing.

It is relieving anyway, that those addresses came back. It could mean, that Kraken also have seeds of the adressess, so they have not lost my xmr.

Do you see that the transaction has arrived and it has some status like pending. Or is it like on my account that there is no sign of the transaction?

I see the LTC deposit in the Deposit section (it says "Success" btw), including amount, transaction ID and all other info you normally see when you deposit crypto.  However, it's not yet credited to my account. It happened before with XRP and got fixed fast. Now with LTC I'm still waiting. Let's hope it gets fixed fast.

The last bit of the announcement says that even after January 4th they will be slower than normal to process deposit/withdrawals.

Yeah, but that shouldn't have anything to do with cryptocurrencies, and I doubt they would disable the funding functionality on the site completely just because of that (they don't disable it over weekends normally, for example).

True, I havent tried trading in Cryptocurrencies. Rather have it safe in fiat right now instead of a cryptocurrency which I might not be able to move. The problems I encounter though are that I can not deposit and withdraw funds. The message I quoted specifies that this is because Kraken shut down all deposits and withdrawals from the period of December 28 2017 til January 4th 2018.

Hi Kraken are con-artists. I'm so sorry to hear that you were a victim of a phone phishing scam. You were not speaking with a Kraken representative on the phone, because we do not offer phone support. We have been actively telling clients about these scams because they are becoming more and more common. They are also targeting clients of other exchanges, so everyone should be extremely vigilant.

If you're still having an issue accessing your Kraken account at this time I would suggest escalating your ticket.




Please spare me your sympathy.  I'm well aware you do not offer phone support and thats why I did not give the bastard that phoned me any information over the phone about me or my account.

The problem is that he already had my personal phone number.  How is it possible he had this?  Please explain that to me and the good people on this forum given I only logged on through your web address.

And also that someone was able to change my login details without my knowledge.  Please explain how that can happen?

Unless someone from kraken.com deliberately gave my details to a hacker, or kraken themselves are in on the scam

Kraken.com still refuse to let me access the account and see the transaction history.  Even though they have been served legal notice to do so,  they now refuse to correspond with me.

And don't give me anymore shit about sending you my passport details or escalating tickets.  There is now way in hell I will be sending you people any of my government ID.  God knows what you'll do with it.

You know who I am.  Ive send you plenty of correspondence already and now signed legal notices that I require immediate access.

It should soon be time the kraken gives an update on how the system upgrades are progressing. The last blog post said we can expect an update towards the end of the week, and there's not much left of Sunday now.

i had exactly the same problem ! i lost 500 xrp because of these errors !

Do you mean that you really lost 500 xrp the way that they just vanished, or kind of lost that amount of xrp by Kraken related delayed trades? Both are anyway unacceptable.

yes i had error messages(i don't remember exactly what, should have taken a screen shot) saying something like try again later... which i did, which processed multiple orders! and yes, because of that and the time delay i lost 500 ripples !
