MaiaCoin is ready to be published to you all and made available for download. But as there is a new mining phase this will be require a hard fork of the block chain so that the new wallets all agree on the new coins being produced. The hard fork will occur automatically at block 180k
Key points:
- You must download or compile a new wallet before block 180000
- Any coins produced (including staking) using the old wallet after block 180000 will NOT be valid
- If you upgrade after block 180000, you must re-download the blockchain again!
- Mining will restart at block 180k using X15, and will end 20k blocks later

Thank you very much! Although it seems like you forgot to change the numbers in "Mining phases" description from 200k to 180k (Statistics tab)

Think about the authentication system used on many Bank websites and mobile apps:
I think it's an essential feature when dealing with money. A good alternative could be a 2FA service with a mobile app generating passphrases based on wallet signature + global time (5-10 minutes precision, i.e. passphrase will update every 5-10 minutes).
Actually, since everyone will benefit from it (including bitcoin project and every other altcoin)..... I'd love to see Maiacoin as a testbench for new security features. What do you think mammix2 ? It'll definitely bring great value into your work and maiacoin itself!
Thats a great idea and something ive already been involved with in the past, so can look to bring these types of new features in.

I want to trade this coin on BTC38 and maybe Cryptsy (but I prefer BTC38)! I don't trust Bittrex since they started adding shady scamcoin IPOs and not filtering what coins they add at all, it became a bad exchange with no volume. All other exchanges are even worse. I wouldn't trust my money to any other exchange either (remember Mintpal? C-cex?)

Currently we're at about 168,000 so this give you plenty of time to download the new wallet as this will require a mandatory upgrade. As this is a continuation of the MaiaCoin blockchain, all your previous coins will still be valid! If you update after block 200k you will be required to re-downlaod the blockchain again, so you are in sync with the new data
The new wallet has been restyled and features anonymous mixing transactions between wallets to give you the option of moving money around without being tracked!
Over the very near future there will be a push to get MaiaCoin listed back on exchanges and to start trading again so you can all trade some value back into MAIA.
I would also like to ask for suggestions on future development and which next features you would like to see most in the next release of MaiaCoin.

Congratulations with sorting things out! Although I have to agree with the previous guys, > 3 weeks from now for the relaunch is simply too much, whoever may be interested in this today won't wait and the momentum will be gone. I think it's important to get it running in a few days

So we have to wait for 3 weeks again?! There's no reason to wait this long. 3 weeks is eternity for crypto.... I mean c'mon, make it from block 180000 like you originally planned, 8-9 days from now is enough for everyone to catch up.
