In a long time Mintcoin (MINT) is in the market, I believe that it is now matured, but it is common currency, This can change with masternode, the team already thought about it? can attract investors. Another interesting fact is the reduction of supply, generating scarcity and demand.

Nice bounce back with 100% gain from the previous day. I think those coins that bounce quicker together with Bitcoin are the strongest ones and are the first to recover from the lows.

Would be nice if people could stop selling their coins and the price might go up a little more... but what do i know about crypto just trying to get rich quick lol..

Is anyone able to withdraw from Cryptopia?  I keep getting an 'invalid MINT address' when attempting to withdraw.

Cryptopia's mintcoin wallet has no  connections, and when I click the button labelled "connections: 0" on its status page I get the quoted error message.

You won't be able to withdraw until cryptopia fixes the problem.

Weird.  My coins got there but can't get them back.  Don't see a wallet version @ coininfo.

I sent support a ticket.

Now its fixed.  Not sure what happened there but I had initially used the installer to install v2.0.2.

I removed Mintcoin in add/remove programs, restarted system.  Used the .zip download instead and now wallet opens fine, runs, and is downloading blocks.

Nope, still not fixed.  Even though the wallet actually opened, it wasn't downloading any data and went into an unresponsive status again.  Closed wallet, deleted directory files, opened wallet, hangs at blank white window again.

Bah...

Fixed.

For some reason Mintcoin was showing up 4x in my firewall permissions.  Removed them all, started wallet again.  Wallet opened.

Bizarro lol..

Hmm, actually this seems isolated to that one system.  I installed 2.0.2 on another windows 10 machine and it opened just fine.

I'll have to figure out whats preventing it from opening on the other system.

I'm unable to get the 2.0.2 wallet to run in windows 10 64bit environment.

It just hangs in an unresponsive window.

I am however able to get previous version to open and run.  Am at a loss as to whats causing the 2.0.2 version to hang unresponsive.

I've tried removing everything in the data directory except for just the wallet.dat and same result.

Correction, 2.0.1 hangs the same as 2.0.2.

Latest version I a have an am able to open is v1.17

The mint (MINT) is a green, green, innovative, safe and energy-efficient PoW/PoS coin. I like this very much, saving a lot of energy in digital money than other coins.

I am really big fan of mint coin. Was one the first coin that I invested back in 2014 in and still believe in it. I still didn’t sell the coins that I owned back then. Why are we not doing anything to support or fix the coin problems if there are any? If the developer need support we can raise a donation fund and fix the problems. I can’t see it dying

Just pulled out my conf file. Here is the complete list - 12 connections and running fine. Try adding all of these.
Its is a large chain so will take a while if your going from scratch. i would recommend the bootstrap.

I used to run mintcoin, but even when it is running it takes a lot of resources and is hard to upgrade. I had to download the entire block chain on several occasions to get it back up and working. The best suggestion I can give you is to run blackcoin instead. It's light on resources and runs like a charm. I've been very happy with it. It is a POS coin just like Mintcoin and created around the same time. Mintcoin has a better name and marketing but Blackcoin does a much better job of delivering on the POS promise. That's been my experience anyway.
