Does anyone here have a recommendation for a solid programmer to assist us in upgrading our block explorer?

I've got a friend who once ran a similar block explorer without the address search functionality.  He's since upgraded to where we need to be.  I'll see if I can speak with him soon.  Smiley

Please do! Looking for pricing & eta - thanks!

Try MrData @ http://www.crypto2.net. He's one of the original founders of www.coinpayments.net. He works on WeAreSatoshi, Diem, Spots, etc.

I will try to connect next week - thanks!

Hi folks, its been a long time since i posted anything here but i read allmost every day.
Its because im on the move allmost all the time and only have my phone.
I like the changes made with the new dev team and the premine gone and all. Really good news for the coin!

I would really like to donate some mints every now and then to different projects but its difficult since i allmost never have access to my computer where my wallet is.

So i have some ideas for the wallet:
1. An option to auto-send [0-100%] of minted coins to [mintcoin address]
Then i could auto donate x% of all minted coins to whatever project i like.

2. Possibility to remote control the wallet via an android app.
It could be an option in the wallet where you allow remote access and then configure a password or generate a qr code that you have to scan with your phone to gain access.
And a light weight android app that you can connect to your wallet and see your balance and send coins (maybe just to pre configured addresses for security).

What do you think, is it possible to implement any of it?

Hi Dille71,

I am taking these notes back into our development team for consideration. Thank you for your continued support! We have allot of things cooking and can't wait to share them with everyone.

In the meantime would you mind pm'ing me with projects you are interested in? I have specific addresses for each cause so that people can donate to projects of interest.
Plans are to make a complete public list soon!

I don't suppose you could reduce the start minting after Sync level value, maybe 10k blocks or so. perhaps even make it based on the weight value.

I will add this to the dev board for discussion. Thanks for the feedback Smiley

I feel that mintcoin should be considered as a miner. People that don't want to buy miners and deal with the tech side can just buy mint and leave it to stake at a high rate.

Another donation campaign?  Huh I don't think anyone is going to do that. They have lost lot of money already. This is not the way to go. Community is already broken.
i don't know why is this coin popular, nothing innovations, just stunt, mintpal.com is a shit irresponsible exchange already..

it is definitely NOT popular. These campaigns mean nothing, I would be very surprised if they manage to collect the money. But what's there for mintcoin in return? I havent heard anything.

Sorry but this coin is about to die. There is 300 dollar volume that says everything about it. No one is interested.

If you look at the surface level of this coin then yes, I would agree...even as a mintcoin supporter/holder.

However, there appears to be some things brewing with a great community team.  Undervalued perhaps?

I'm looking forward to working with the mintcoin team!  Smiley

nice to see there is still some activity here Smiley

Haven't checked this tread for a long time .. already wrote my investment off tbh.. still owning 50m+ mint what was worth a lot someday.. feel like a cunt not selling it haha

Is the androit wallet being made in the end? I donated 5m mint for the androit wallet but don't know if it eventually was released or not.

Are there some other developments going on? what is mintcoins role in this keepod project. From what I remember is keepod a project for African people that could store all there personal things on a simple usb that they can use on every computer. So as long as the have a (second hand) computer somewhere in the neighbourhood the can log in on their 'own' computer just by using the keepod right? So what have mintcoin have to do with this project ?

Hi Bansterdam,
The android wallet is currently out in beta testing for bugs and glitches. Keepod campaign is a campaign where we are partnering with keepod.org to donate keepods to a group of 500 kids in Africa as well as internet access and recycled computers. We are looking towards a long fruitful relationship for all parties involved. More will be released on September 1st on this.

Well, I still have all my mintcoins, honestly I just enjoy minting.
I will keep doing that even if the trade volume is zero and the buy price is 1 litetoshi.

I stand with you 100%. I had composed an "answer" to the above posters, but I thought better of it. (I saved it though, just in case  Grin)

We shall see what happens, but dead, it is not.
