Here is a sneak peak of the wallet coming up.

There is even the possibility of extra features being integrated into the wallet but more of that later.

Hi everyone,
Lot of project happening with quite an amount of mintcoin as bounty (the mint multipool being the latest one)

I read some people are wary of sending money to non official persons like here
http://www.reddit.com/r/MintCoin/comments/20hiqy/bounty_500000_mint_for_a_mint_multipool/cg3dzfc

What I propose:
An official escrow to make people more comfortable with giving for project. I believe this escrow should take no fee - and of course being someone the whole community trust.
Several names come to mind but the decision on who will maintain said escrow (and be ultimately responsible for handling money) will be discussed internally.
What I need now is your opinion on an official escrow. This takes time to setup (not much, but still some) so I don't want to start such a project of not enough person is interested.

Waiting for your inputs.

Good idea!

Off topic - These dumps are actually doing us a favour - they are thinning out those sell walls quite rapidly. If people want to flog off their coins at 17 then let em, we have enough buy power and good news to continue pushing up. As Blackcoin punters start to cash out they will come back to MINT and that will drive up the price pretty quickly when we only have a few bitcoin at each satoshi increment.

a coin trying to destroy other coins? while having 20% interest rate.

IF this takes of. the interest rate is too high.

Go put your coins in the bank then and 2%  Roll Eyes

you will see what i mean.

GUIMiner Scrypt Alpha works perfectly and is the easiest method of using this pool - here are my settings:

Also found this: on http://www.reddit.com/r/mintpool/comments/20fgq3/all_i_am_getting_is_rejects/

Same as cgminer, but starts with "sgminer.exe -o stratum+tcp://mintpool.us:3333" DON'T add "Scrypt"

wow, indeed my cgminer bat works fine if I just pull out the --scrypt part, I had tried it before (and I had changed cgminer to say sgminer) but I didn't know I needed to leave out the --scrypt part.

Seems to be up and running; thanks!

Nice, this should be posted on mintpool.us  hompage for sure.

Need to update the connection settings info on http://mint.mintpool.us/mint/index.php too

In the help section the port is given as 4444 where it should be 3333

Thanks deadmanwalking Smiley

3333 is DOGE, 4444 is MINT.  The subdomains point to the same address, so the service is separated by using different ports.

Their docs are correct.

Should it say sgminer instead of cgminer in your code?

okay so I tried using sgminer. Here is my config - it keeps crashing my video card. Any idea what I'm doing wrong here? I'm used to cgminer =/

Code:
{
"pools" : [
{
"url" : "stratum+tcp://mint.mintpool.us:4444",
"user" : "(My Mint Wallet Address)",
"pass" : "(PW)"
}
]
,
"intensity" : "20",
"worksize" : "256",
"kernel" : "ckolivas",
"lookup-gap" : "2",
"thread-concurrency" : "32765",
"shaders" : "0",
"gpu-threads" : "1",
"api-mcast-port" : "4028",
"api-port" : "4028",
"expiry" : "28",
"failover-switch-delay" : "60",
"gpu-dyninterval" : "7",
"gpu-platform" : "0",
"gpu-device" : "0",
"log" : "5",
"no-pool-disable" : true,
"queue" : "1",
"scan-time" : "7",
"tcp-keepalive" : "30",
"temp-hysteresis" : "3",
"shares" : "0",
"kernel-path" : "/usr/local/bin"
}

And for your reference, this is my batch file code which works just fine for cgminer on other pools, which I attempted to adapt into the sgminer config file:

Code:
cgminer --scrypt -o stratum+tcp://mint.mintpool.us:4444 -u (My Mint Wallet Address) -p (PW) --gpu-platform 0 -d 0 -g 1 -w 256 --lookup-gap 2 --thread-concurrency 32765 -I 20
pause

Can someone please tweet the pool owner and ask him to post a sgminer link on the Quick start page. I don't tweet Undecided  http://twitter.com/MintPool
