How long before the multi pool starts buying up MINT?

And why is someone dumping it @ 17 sat? Lol.

I`m just wondering what will happen when every (or more realistic the most -) ... relevant altcoins jump on the multipool train.

I really dont know

When that happens, I'm guessing it will be really difficult to start a new altcoin at that point. Just a guess. It's already so competitive. Getting dumped on by multipools will make it that much harder.

We need 50 more MH/s to overtake the dogecoin multipool on the same site. Let's do this.

Nice, Now with the multipool anybody that can't buy btc can still get mint through GPU mining, I expect soon every coin that is unprofitable to mine directly will have a pool like this. Topcoin is a prime candidate.

FYI - If you're having lots of rejects, use SGMiner 4.1 for mintpool.us
I am also having issues with the new pool. I switched over from the "other" multipool to this. Is anyone getting accepted shares?

I just got a few "Stratum connection to pool 0 interrupted." are they trying to fix it?

minteresting posted this on reddit:

I tried using the pool with cgminer 3.7.2, and was having major issues with rejects. I found people reporting similar issues, it's related to the stratum proxy software they are using and something in cgminer.

I switched to sgminer 4.1, and it seems to be working well. Sgminer download: https://mega.co.nz/#!rVAT1C7T!hY5TQnUQybBLWzPSglaAZCJlxTHIT0W1pvFjubcfVuQh

Been lurking for AGES, finally registered. Love this coin and have high hopes for it, sold most of my Doge to buy in (at a higher price than I should have haha). I've bought in at 7, all the way up and then on the way down too Smiley

Yeah I'm a little confused why or how the multipool will bring the price up?

Your mined coins get exchanged for Bitcoins. The operator uses the Bitcoins to buy Mintcoins on your behalf, then gives them to you. This increase buy pressure/demand, thereby pushing the price upwards. Very cool concept.

interesting way to boost price.... but we don't mine mint there right? I thought the mining period is over for mint.

Right, it's not mining mint on that pool, it's mining whatever coin happens to be most profitable at the moment and then it trades it to mintcoin. According to Coinwarz that would be netcoin at the moment, followed by vertcoin and flappycoin.

No, you don't mine Mintcoins directly, since the PoW is pretty much over, giving 1 Mintcoin per block. You mine something that is most profitable, meaning some altcoin that gets you the most BTC per GH/s. This could be LTC or Doge, Redd or whatever is most profitable. These altcoins get traded for BTC, which then get traded for Mintcoins. So, a multipool allows you to indirectly mine for Mintcoins.

No it mines the most profitable coin exchanges for BTC then exchanges BTC for mint then pays the miners out in mint
