Do it right or don't do it at all.
Any peer list available. Downloaded v1.0.3.2. f8f39d0-dirty 64 bit win.  Unable to connect to any peers.  Is this the right wallet fork?

I still have a wallet from 2014. I downloaded the latest QT and saw that the block were only 31 weeks behind. Has there been any swap?

Thanks
Yes,there was a swap early 2017 and it's fully done actually as the swap was active and advertised for several months.
Do you have any amount of coins in that old wallet?

I have 10 MUE but the transactions show up as unconfirmed. QT is synced.

The old quark based tokens are not valid anymore on the new X11 chain, so if I understand you correctly, those 10 old MUE are invalid.

im trying to add a new MN but in my wallet when i try to isolate 500k mue i get an error "transaction too large." any idea how to fix that?

Set up a receiving address, and send multiple amounts of say 10 000 to yourself. Use coin control to lock those transactions for the moment. Keep sending those chunks to reduce the number of transaction inputs and then send yourself the full 500 000 MUE collateral in one transaction. Smiley

can't type more now but try and i can assist more later

It says "make sure you generate new address via the address page", yet there's no button or option to generate new addresses there.

Is it ok to make deposits to the current addresses listed there or not?
If it is your "OLD" MUE address from before the message, then no, don't deposit there.
I'm pretty sure you've joined us in Slack this morning to check right?

I haven't joined the slack recently, but let me walk you through the experience.

Your old wallet addresses on this platform are no longer valid. make sure you generate a new one, by visiting the addresses page

As you are aware we have seen a few incidents in the last few weeks, this have culminated in this message to users, MYMUE was never designed to handle the depoists it has seen due to miners mining to there myMUE account, as such starting 1st Feb 2018 We will ignore all deposits smaller than 1000 MUE

Please make sure you have updated your miners to mine else where. Yessssss we really will ignore them.

Thank you!

I see this as soon as going to the MyMue page. First thing I think is, "uh, what does old mean here? before the fork last year? or did something happen recently?".

Then, when I go to the Addresses page, there's an address listed. Doesn't say new, old, or anything. So then I think, how do I know if it's old?

See how that's confusing? How does one know if they have an "old" or "ok" address just based upon the initial message? And more importantly, if I think it's an old address, I don't see a button to 'generate new address' or anything, so how would I even fix it?

Thanks for your time.
I agree, work needs to be done on that platform for a better user experience, and that is hopefully coming soon.

The deposit address should be fine to use (other than for mining) but please be sure by first sending a small amount to confirm.

Will do, thank you sir :-)

I've missed that one yesterday. Every time I check for new shares, they're quickly sold out. Is there any way to receive notifications for this via email, or text message? It would be great if the MyMUE platform would have some sort of notifications system every time new shares show up.

Hi, yep, we've added a service bot, just follow this on twitter to be notified when shares are available https://twitter.com/MyMUE_Avail

Thanks

After all these years, MonetaryUnit will not be so vulnerable that development is working hard.

Agree. MonetaryUnit has taken the time to deliver promising development and features at a slow and steady pace. Given that it has implemented masternodes feature, and it has a deflationary model, I'm sure that MUE would become a great investment in the long term.

Nevertheless, given that most cryptocurrencies on the market have decline in value, it's the perfect time to buy cheap MUE while it's still possible. I have the feeling that soon MUE will be worth $1 and beyond. So, it would be up to buy and hodl MUE for the long term. Just my opinion Smiley

Nevertheless, I'll be checking the page regularly for new shares as I have plenty of MUE waiting to be exchanged for shares. Soon, I'll be able to get a masternode of my own with 500k MUE. Smiley

Yepp, there were some 94 shares available, but they all sold out very fast. Potential buyers need to keep an eye out for new available shares, they fly off the shelves with lightning speed!  Cool

It would be very happy to climb up to 10x, but it's not easy all of them need a very long process to achieve that.
