I will sell all my NAUT if BK is going to answer any of this childish crap  Shocked

Its ridiculous that you would believe a single word that comes out of his mouth. He is a Wall Street Suit to the bitter end.

They care nothing about the truth and everything about cheating you out of your money.

BK is attempting to kill bitcoin so he and his buddies can be even richer. And all for what?

Tell me Brian, what good is being rich when the world around you is crumbling and hates you? Is that what kind of a world you want to live in?

Why do people keep saying Brian is trying to kill bitcoin? What actions has he taken?

It's FUD.

Now this is funny stuff!!!

1.) I am not trying to kill Bitcoin, I believe the blockchain is so revolutionary that there is room for many coins/chains

2.) Let's suppose I was trying to kill Bitcoin....AND let's suppose I am successful...wouldn't you want to be on Nautiluscoin's side?  The coin can be bought by anyone, therefore anyone can benefit if indeed killing Bitcoin was my plan...which TO BO CLEAR is NOT my plan.

3.) And as for Wall Street and truth...my experience in the crypto world is that there are more scams and untruths than I have ever seen on Wall Street. This is not to defend the actions of some bad apples in my industry, just that every industry has bad actors...you know glass houses and stones etc...

Check back through this thread if you can be bothered, we just gave up in the end and hit the ignore button. Perhaps you can reason with her but I doubt it.

PilotofBTC has contacted a multipool developer recommended by scrypto and we're waiting for a response.

Good idea with the ToDo list and flyingmongoose can bump it from time to time. Add links if you or anyone else feels, there are important posts on a topic.

I want to add one thing that kind of falls under the third point in the current list, it is the homepage. I dont know how much the community can do here, but it should still be a part of the ToDo list.

Right now the hompage limits the success of any promotion (fight/facebook campaign) unnecessarily. The three main links on the front page are still not working and there simply is not enough information for a beginner. I would like to see a total beginner's section with an explanation what cryptos are, how they work, BTC vs NAUT, how to buy etc etc. Preferably some videos as it is much easier to get someone to watch something than to read something, though both channels should be available.

Right now 95% of NAUT is probably in the hands of people familiar to BTC and cryptos. If NAUT tries to attract outside people (which it clearly tries to - the fight), I would like to see a risk warning. All Cryptos including BTC are a high risk investment and not exactly the stuff in what you want to invest the money you want to spend on your kid's education. Of course the chances are also sky-high, but risk always comes with that, would be good if that would be openly explained somehow.

HOWEVER, a very important point was made: it may make the coin seem less active than it really is, so for now, an official forum may need to wait.

I agree. from what I've experienced, dedicated forums can be lonely places. even reddit is running out of steam.

IMO here is the best place to talk NAUT, although there is the danger of all of us burying important ideas/information in the thread, especially when fudsters attack and people who need medication are posting here.

A to-do list that features  project ideas, bounties etc that could be regularly appended/bumped up the thread may work?

I like this To-Do list idea

I think it's great to have a forum/ general management. I wonder if there could be any need for regional representatives. It might be innovative to have people from different cities/ regions organizing real world application/ adoption. I live in Las Vegas and would love it if there was something I could do on the ground (offline) to support Naut, though I'm naut sure what that would look like.

Yes, I got buried in the avalanche of posts here, I still try to keep up. Though I appreciate those of you that support me in the role.

I can say that I still actively buy naut when I can (I still have yet to sell a single NAUT because I still truly believe in the coin). I no longer attempt to mine naut directly, but at least 50% of my earnings in mining still goes to NAUT purchases (that's how much I believe in the coin, and in the virtual currency market, that's a big amount).

Also, I do have a job outside of virtual currency (haven't struck it rich yet ;-)).

Not only that I do have my personal project I'm working on, still shooting for the 15th of august as an announcement date for it, but it's announcement may be pushed back (work projects take precedence as they more readily get me paid). (I'm aiming for this project to increase distribution and acceptance, BK already knows what it is, and has given me his blessing, as well as the ability to make use of the spiral logo in my own logo so long as I do not claim credit over it Smiley )

However, I also agree, "community management" is not a "one man job", there's just too much going here and this is an international thing (I can't be awake 24/7... I'm not 7/11!).

A multipool is a good idea, a while back I mentioned possibly an official forum, HOWEVER, a very important point was made: it may make the coin seem less active than it really is, so for now, an official forum may need to wait.

The digishield retargeting issue is truly a blessing in disguise, I agree with others, while it does cause delays in transactions, it has, in turn, enforced a lower total coins prior to the proof of stake phase.

And it has been mentioned, the NSF is not a be all end all "if it's this it will stay this no matter what", it can't, it buys and sells within limits, there's only so much available for it to buy/sell with.

Maybe we should decide what's next and someone can head that up for now. Multipool or wallet or what?

multipool would be a very good start.

having a branded naut multipool would be good.

there's a bitcointalk user called 'crypto-train' who recently built a multipool for struggling ultracoin:

https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/cryptotrain-net-301943

he appears pretty knowledgeable. he may be worth contacting?

Does he manage it too?

Yes

I hope he's interested. Feels like we're making a bit of progress now.

i just gotta say, i'm absolutely loving the blackcoin POS wallet.  I would be joyful if we had something in place like that with a few visual tweaks.

FlyingMongoose is busy sometimes so we'll need more than one.

Perhaps decide what to focus on next and see who comes out as the best choice.

agreed. this is bigger than one person

BTCPilot comes to mind.

Edit: BTCCrawl is also pretty active.

or you

I have no technical expertise. I'm just trying to keep things positive until we move to POS so been posting a lot recently.

I've seen the negative impact a dysfunctional thread can have, especially when things aren't running particularly smoothly.
