My only concern is BK JUST NOWW acknowledging these problems when transaction times have been delayed for over a week.
FYI - I have acknowledged these problems well over a month ago and have been spending out of my own pocket to rent ASIC farms. I would have fixed the Digishield problem a month ago, but each week it appeared we were getting close to final PoS transition.
tx times have always been an issue. naut getting listed on poloniex in mid May after agx was the single exchange exposed the tx issue very quickly.
Renting asic farms?
If that is not done constantly then the moment you stop renting then the chain can get stuck at a high diff depending on the amount of hash you were renting. Would love to hear some numbers on this.
Asics should have been purchased specifically for this task. If you are renting so much you have to complain about it then they would have already payed for themselves. Wait until POS shows up.
What are being done with the NAUT that are generated from renting the asics?
Apparently they have not been used to pay off or donate towards the block explorer.
You came out of your pocket?
Is this some sort of guilt trip? I guarantee this coin has done more for you than the other way around.
I do not know how much you make, but it is all relative.
If you make 15million/yr and joeblow makes 50K/yr then you make 300x more.
So lets say joeblow invested $100 of his 50K to help out the coin he created...chump change
That means if you make 15 million then in comparison that would be $30,000...chump change
(that kind of money gets 5-6 mma fighters or possibly a ufc current belt holder)
Now if joeblow really believed in what he was doing he would invest 10% or more of his salary
so $5,000+
And comparatively the baller would invest
$1.5 million if they actually believed in what they were pushing. Now that kind of money, with the right people and game plan just might take over. You never know.
Love to hear what those numbers are as well. Because if you came out of pocket more than $250 compared to a 50K salary then I'll say I was wrong about you. But one thing is for certain, it is not backed like it is the next best thing and believed in. NAUT is more like the bum begging and a few cents and maybe a dollar or two are spared, imo.
I can not believe I am having to baby step this thing out to a hfm.
Also, btw, the stabilization fund is not working properly. The price of NAUT has dropped ~50% in roughly a week.
At what price are you looking to stabilize NAUT?
All of that has been answered numerous times in the thread. I'll do a brief summary of your questions.
* ASICs are rented pretty much constantly, but the problem with Digishield causes the difficulty to fluctuate, so that if a block is solved and the next one has much lower difficulty that one will be solved instantly. That pushed the difficulty up again, and so it goes. It's a blessing in disguise for early investors though, as it lowers the total coin supply quite a bit.
* The new blockexplorer is perfectly fine. You've probably found the old one that was discarded a long time ago.
* If he's paying for the ASICs himself I assume he keeps the Naut for himself as well, but I'm unsure about that and BK can confirm.
* I'm sure he's not trying to guilt trip anyone, he was asked a question regarding the TX times and answered that he had in fact provided a temporary solution.
* I don't have inside information, but I can guarantee you that BK has not made a single dollar on Naut so far. He's been mining at a huge loss for the last month, and has bought a lot of Naut for himself at higher prices. Again, this is a very good thing for us investors though, as it shows the confidence he has in this project.
* The stabilization fund is constantly selling and buying, but it wasn't intended to do more than provide a small amount of stabilization, and wasn't really intended to do much during the PoW stage due to the huge inflationrate we currently have (around 1% a day).
Again, you could have found all of this out for yourself but I wanted to summarize both for you and everyone who's new here. I don't know if you're really 18 years old or not (your username has 96 in it) but if that's the case your post is understandable. Do please keep in mind though that it doesn't look good to be arrogant (your line about having to babystep) when you're at the same time basing your entire post on poor research and misunderstandings.
