FlyingMongoose is busy sometimes so we'll need more than one.

Perhaps decide what to focus on next and see who comes out as the best choice.

So I will bump this until flyingmongoose steps up   Wink

Dont think BK will have any complains, he somewhere (burried in the thread obv Grin) said that he wants to concentrate as few important parts on himself as possible. That maybe werent his exact words, and without a dictionary I couldnt find a better way to express it.

I agree guys... we need a thread leader pronto. I'm afraid I don't have time but would be willing to donate some NAUT for bounties etc.

Can we go back to the "community manager" idea? I feel we really need someone who is collecting all the ideas, links, suggestions, etc. that come up in this thread and so often get burried somewhere because we have no child boards. I have no idea what would be the best way to do it.

Also, organzing the discussion a tiny little bit would help. No vote is needed for that I think.

Yes, I know it is easy to say "somone step up" while not doing it, but I never was very active in this thread anyway.

Lots of people thought Flyingmongoose was a great choice, but I think it got buried in the avalanche of posts recently Smiley BK, what do you think about it?

My only concern is BK JUST NOWW acknowledging these problems when transaction times have been delayed for over a week.

FYI - I have acknowledged these problems well over a month ago and have been spending out of my own pocket to rent ASIC farms.  I would have fixed the Digishield problem a month ago, but each week it appeared we were getting close to final PoS transition.

(crap) Renting asic farms? (crap) What are being done with the NAUT that are generated from renting the asics? (crap) You came out of your pocket? Is this some sort of guilt trip? (crap) Love to hear what those numbers are as well. (crap) At what price are you looking to stabilize NAUT?

I will sell all my NAUT if BK is going to answer any of this childish crap  Shocked

tx times have always been an issue. naut getting listed on poloniex in mid May after agx was the single exchange exposed the tx issue very quickly.

Renting asic farms?
If that is not done constantly then the moment you stop renting then the chain can get stuck at a high diff depending on the amount of hash you were renting. Would love to hear some numbers on this.

Asics should have been purchased specifically for this task. If you are renting so much you have to complain about it then they would have already payed for themselves. Wait until POS shows up.

What are being done with the NAUT that are generated from renting the asics?
Apparently they have not been used to pay off or donate towards the block explorer.

You came out of your pocket?
Is this some sort of guilt trip? I guarantee this coin has done more for you than the other way around.
I do not know how much you make, but it is all relative.
If you make 15million/yr and joeblow makes 50K/yr then you make 300x more.
So lets say joeblow invested $100 of his 50K to help out the coin he created...chump change
That means if you make 15 million then in comparison that would be $30,000...chump change
(that kind of money gets 5-6 mma fighters or possibly a ufc current belt holder)

Now if joeblow really believed in what he was doing he would invest 10% or more of his salary
so $5,000+

And comparatively the baller would invest
$1.5 million if they actually believed in what they were pushing. Now that kind of money, with the right people and game plan just might take over. You never know.

Love to hear what those numbers are as well. Because if you came out of pocket more than $250 compared to a 50K salary then I'll say I was wrong about you. But one thing is for certain, it is not backed like it is the next best thing and believed in. NAUT is more like the bum begging and a few cents and maybe a dollar or two are spared, imo.

I can not believe I am having to baby step this thing out to a hfm.

Also, btw, the stabilization fund is not working properly. The price of NAUT has dropped ~50% in roughly a week.

At what price are you looking to stabilize NAUT?
All of that has been answered numerous times in the thread. I'll do a brief summary of your questions.

* ASICs are rented pretty much constantly, but the problem with Digishield causes the difficulty to fluctuate, so that if a block is solved and the next one has much lower difficulty that one will be solved instantly. That pushed the difficulty up again, and so it goes. It's a blessing in disguise for early investors though, as it lowers the total coin supply quite a bit.

* The new blockexplorer is perfectly fine. You've probably found the old one that was discarded a long time ago.

* If he's paying for the ASICs himself I assume he keeps the Naut for himself as well, but I'm unsure about that and BK can confirm.

* I'm sure he's not trying to guilt trip anyone, he was asked a question regarding the TX times and answered that he had in fact provided a temporary solution.

* I don't have inside information, but I can guarantee you that BK has not made a single dollar on Naut so far. He's been mining at a huge loss for the last month, and has bought a lot of Naut for himself at higher prices. Again, this is a very good thing for us investors though, as it shows the confidence he has in this project.

* The stabilization fund is constantly selling and buying, but it wasn't intended to do more than provide a small amount of stabilization, and wasn't really intended to do much during the PoW stage due to the huge inflationrate we currently have (around 1% a day).

Again, you could have found all of this out for yourself but I wanted to summarize both for you and everyone who's new here. I don't know if you're really 18 years old or not (your username has 96 in it) but if that's the case your post is understandable. Do please keep in mind though that it doesn't look good to be arrogant (your line about having to babystep) when you're at the same time basing your entire post on poor research and misunderstandings.

what happens when you click trust button(i know how ignore works)but i'm yet hesitant to click on trust button(says all about btt lol)

This is for rating trades between members. A bit like on e-bay.. if it was a successful trade and the other party did what was agreed, you fill in the details about the trade and give them +1 trust.

I mean, you guys do realize that you are implicitly rooting for the downfall of bitcoin, right?

When bitcoin is taxed and regulated like the dollar is, it will just be another dollar. It won't be interesting. It won't help poor or average people. It will just be another conduit for the rich to get wealthier.

I know, I realize thats been your plan all along. You don't give a shit about other people. Must be nice to be a sociopath and not have the responsibilities of morality and empathy holding you back.

#1 I don't get what you mean hope for the downfall of BTC? Because of regulation?

#2 You cannot regulate the BTC Smiley  To an extent but its just mathematics, the rules cannot change.

#3 BTC isn't going anywhere, it is literally one of the greatest innovations in the last 30 years.

And the last statement?  I don't know if you should be calling anyone a sociopath.

Yes, BK is trying to kill bitcoin through regulation. He doesn't give a shit about bitcoin. He's just being paid to help Wall Street get a stinky, disease-ridden foothold in the cryptoworld.

And No, BK definitely is a sociopath. He could be using the massive wealth his parents imbued on him to help make the world a better place but instead he is using it to make it a stupider place, because it somehow makes him feel like a more powerful and important man.

Looks like things have gone off the rails a bit.  This is my fault and my responsibility to get things back on track. Rest assured I WILL get things back on track. Full stop.

I appreciate all those who have stayed positive on this thread.

Boss Man, its just the work of cryptogoblins. It's never going to end, no matter which altcoin community. It's their business model.

It's easy to combat with level-headedness and simple intelligence. Glad to see you acknowledging when they get lucky and actually snag a few newcomers into their panic traps.

Jyap isn't getting many donations for his explorer, he's only had 75 NAUT so far. Try to donate even if it's just 10 NAUT every now and then.  http://nautinsight.buddylabsapps.com/
