Hey guys. I'm a leader on the maidsafe forums. I learned a lot as things grew with MAID, and thought I'd offer some insight.
For those of you who don't know, the crowdsale in April was a successful, $6mil mess. Long story short...everything turned into a huge troll fest afterwards on bitcointalk. It was nearly impossible to separate the people who help, from the people who hinder. With so much to do to make good on launch promises...we needed to turn the noise down and get to work. QUICK!
We started new forums with a zero tolerance for anything distracting.....leaving the emotional troll stuff on bitcointalk. I can see the similarities in this situation. Project roadmap, instructions, FAQ, tech issue submission etc all need to constantly evolve so that people like SoopY don't get bombarded with the same questions over and over (no wonder the poor guy is sick). Thankfully, the maidsafe forums have become some of the most productive & friendly communities on the web. We're attracting all the right people and lots is getting done now that energy is not being wasted.
What do you guys think? Should there be a sanctuary for productivity?
I personally hope I'm stating the obvious and this is part of the new site

Someone was able to complete the synchronization of the new wallet in a normal way,
without using the zip with the blockchain, or the files in the directory of the previous wallet?

Quick Update: Bter has been compensated Fully and will open markets now.
Cryptsy wanted to me to get in touch with them and I have written to them as well as pmed BitJohn and they are yet to reply back to me and I believe will open markets there soon.
I'm having high fever so I'm going to the doctor now , had to come online to sort out Bter and off.

Problem is that my total is 0 although in the transactions tab I can see my deposits and also some coins I managed to mine. Any idea how to fix this? I have tried a couple of times and got the same result. Hope someone can help. Thanks in advance

Well this is not a reall problem about this wallet, but ( i had this also in the official bitcoin wallet ) , what u can do is just wait, leave wallet open.
Thanks, I will leave it open for now and see whether my balance appears at one point. I have checked in the explorer and the coins are there so I'm not too worried.

Over zealous day traders who see one person sell at 900 sats, then think there is going to be dump so they 'get in early' to dump some coins before someone else does.
This is guaranteed to happen when buy walls do not move up with market price. Honestly I should have sold some coins myself at 900 sats but hard to think in terms of trading when I have so much belief in the coin itself. But you need to keep emotions out of it with trading. It might be worth over 900 sats to you but to others it's worth whatever direction they believe the market is heading, rather than how much fundamental value they place on it.
