www.miningrigrentals.com is growing fast.

Many miners and buyers are coming here. Help each other to making a big community in miningrigrental

They are reliable and they have been online for years.

NiceScam is done for me and others.

And he is still in silent.

What does the profitability look like compared to mining through a normal pool, and what does demand look like? Are you pretty much always guaranteed to be renting your rigs out 24/7 or will they sometimes be sitting there waiting?

MRR looks good, but the problem is, the miner must be stable 100% to avoid refunds to seller.
Normaly it would be no problem, but some times I had troubles with my miners and cant fix it while working or need time to drive to the location.

And it is problematic to use it for Multi-Algo-Miners as far as I know actual.

Is there any other service like Nicehash for selling hashpower, without needed guarantee for 100% working miner or the Baikals?

busy recovering from hookers and coke.   Wink    Who knows.  When you deal with wild west scenario i can only imagine you are dealt with in the same manner.  NO?

Must suck to have to live looking over your shoulder.     Id say that lessons are hopefully learned but with the amount in the hot wallet its obvious that nothing was learned.

It is sad that NiceHash was a scam, but we just have to go forward. Smiley

I currently have Monacoin and BitZeny, but I draw coins to Wallet as soon as possible. There is no longer a reliable pool.
It is the same as Mt. GOX, which no longer has reliable exchanges.

I hope that your security awareness will be further improved by this incident.

There was no "hack", they simply stole everyone's money. poof, it's gone. If they do go back online without given back stolen BTC, anyone stupid enough to use their service deserves the second theft that will happen again at some point in the future.

What is most interesting is where the coin is, how will the stolen person make it Fiat currency?

Will use mixer pool and spent it.
The hack is unreal but exit scam is obvious here.
Just see reddit's opinions about it.
Most of them believe this is exit scam.

It will be never ending argument, some people believe that there was real hack and some others doubt it and say it as exit scam like what you said. It is reasonable to say like that, because we do not know the real fact. What makes it looks like scam is because it is happened when the bitcoin price increasing crazily. Anyway, I'm sure the mystery will be revealed sooner or later. Smiley
I think NiceHash was a scam. But there is no way to know about it at the moment.
I wait for the official statement and I pray that they will not run away.

The stolen coin was there yesterday.

Oh, my Bitcoin... Sad
However, I am fortunate that the coins I was robbed were around $100.

I hope that such a thing never happens again.
I leave NiceHash. I do not expect Bitcoin to come back.

According to their Facebook Live stream yesterday somehow a computer on their network was compromised and somebody signed in with one of their developer's credentials.  The video can be watched here: https://www.facebook.com/pg/NiceHash/videos/?ref=page_internal

It is questionable whether it is really caused by security breach.
I think that someone on the NiceHash team stole.

I think that's not easy at all, even near impossible, for normal people. However, with these millions it's obvious the thief will receive all kind of sophisticated help to make than happen with no legal risk.

Think this is their exit scam strategy.
It is all over the news and they are feeling the heat now with all the exposure they have now.
Unlike when mt.gox got busted and bitfinex last year, not so many people knew about bitcoin and what it was worth.

Btc was not worth so much as it is now so it is in the billions worth of bitcoin stolen here.

That will not be just swept under the rug and they will need to payout investors on their site now or face time in a jail cell.

my Beans can beat your Beans in a fight
Were anyone's mining rigs attacked? I ask because the computer I use to check my mining rigs had to stop the coinminer virus from being downloaded after the hack. There were repeated attempts. I'm wondering if whomever stole our Bitcoin was attempting to have our mining rigs working for him/her.

What precautions need to be taken? Can a hacker find our individual mining rigs from NiceHash's information? Or was this just a random attack?
