Anyone that kept BTC in a nicehash wallet lost ALL of their BCH and BTG to nicehash after the hardforks. Nicehash didn’t blame the BCH and BTG on maintenance or a hack, they kept it for themselves. If that didn’t raise any red flags, the emptying of ALL nicehash wallets of BTC should be the triple whammy wake up call. Hope I’m wrong and Nicehash returns BTC, BCH, and & BTG to the original and rightful owners, but my gut tells me they will returning nothing earned nor bought to any nicehash users after last night's maintenance.

And another web service that doesn't know to secure funds in a cold wallet.

After all the hacks, you'd think this would be common sense by now.

Idiots.

Well, maybe it is just a good excuse "we are very sorry, yes, we are idiots and we were hacked" as it is very convenient, any service with common sense did it, so honestly I don't believe in was simply insecure, probably it was planned.

Exit scam, It's a trick same as BTC-e.com

The Biggest exit scams in the history of BTC:

Mtgox
BTc-e
mintpal
Cryptsy
Nicehash

When will this wave reach to bittrex & ploniex & yobit?

Ridiculous theory.

to be fair most have turned out to be internal jobs.  I suspect the same goes here.  Its sad.  They really had a good thing going.  Damn short term mindset!.

THOSE OF YOU READING THIS.  SECURE YOUR HOT WALLETS.  EVEN FROM YOUR EMPLOYEES>  IN CRYPTO WE TRUST IN NOONE! At this point in the game id say its gross negligence.

Funny thing is...Nicehash was heavy in the infrastructure of mining.

Tons of mining offline now because they're completely down.

There were also "reports" on facebook by others stating the same thing, and one user claimed that info was coming out that NH has indeed been hacked."

read its on reddit

i think a lot of that confusion is that those amounts everyone had isnt in a wallet.  its numbers in a database.  Until the moment you are paid then it pulls from a hot wallet. (luckily i snapshot mine before closing nhm)  It appears they dumped both the hot and cold  The silence from them is usual business.  Id wait and see what happens.  Could have had a major server fail.  What they have going on cant be easy to get back up and running again.  Hoping for a miracle they come back bigger and better.  and with a bit lower share per minute on vardiff  Tongue

You don't understand. What database are you talking about? Deposit addresses are gone to zero. Deposit addresses on blockchain! The address where I deposit my bitcoins to rent hashing power, ARE GONE TO ZERO. All Nicehash bitcoins are gone to this address: 1EnJHhq8Jq8vDuZA5ahVh6H4t6jh1mB4rq

For fucks sake, can people stop talking about some stupid databases already.

ahh i see.  my mistake. I lost 800 $ but im not melting down about it. sounds as if you gambled more than you can afford to lose.

Sorry for your loss.
