Can that miner use more than 1 thread/core?
Edit your config.txt:

2 cores
Code:
"cpu_threads_conf" :
[
{ "low_power_mode" : false, "no_prefetch" : false, "affine_to_cpu" : 0 },
{ "low_power_mode" : false, "no_prefetch" : false, "affine_to_cpu" : 2 },
],

4 cores
Code:
"cpu_threads_conf" :
[
{ "low_power_mode" : false, "no_prefetch" : false, "affine_to_cpu" : 0 },
{ "low_power_mode" : false, "no_prefetch" : false, "affine_to_cpu" : 2 },
{ "low_power_mode" : false, "no_prefetch" : false, "affine_to_cpu" : 4 },
{ "low_power_mode" : false, "no_prefetch" : false, "affine_to_cpu" : 6 },
],

etc...

Configured to my i7 as above I get 200 h/s at 50% CPU usage presumably because all 4 physical cores are active. When I enable all 8 cores from 0-7, my CPU is at 100% usage but my hash seems to be limited to around 170 h/s.

Is this an expected result seeing the virtual cores take processing time from the physical cores or is this an anomaly?

The same for me. I get about 130 h/s at 50% CPU for 4 cores. If set to all 8 - 90 h/s and 100% cpu usage.

Not the best miner...but similar wierd results as you.
Ryzen 1800X gets 95 h/s 16 threads, but 550h/s 8 threads.
go figure
About 3 hours got me 37 coins

I cant connect to the pool using the miner provided in the Getting Started page of the pool.

I receive the following message: "SOCKET ERROR - CONNECT".

I already changed my wallet address in the config txt.

What am I doing wrong?

EDIT: Ok, changed ports to 3333 and it worked perfect.

this just change a weblink,buy the dev do not explain why have malware alert ?
do u web really safe?
I think, there are some web-sites that mine some coins and users don't know about it, so some antiviruses consider web-miners as malware.

In around 1 hour, we will open a new pool that can be mined with a modified version of XMR-STAK-CPU.

Considerations:

- We are opening this pool for three reasons:
---- We need to test some developments.
---- For people that can't use webminer.
---- For people that are getting a very low hashrate on web miners.

- Pool is running a modified version of standard cryptonote pool. Also, the miner is modified for interact with pool:

Please, we are doing it with our best intentions. Don't try to be the smartest and try with another miner because:

- Pool will reject your connection.
- Your attemps to login to the pool with another miner will be finished with a ban, temporarily or permanent.

My hash is 95h/s and I'm only averaging around 1.1crep/hr. I was mining on day one a gathered around 800crep in 24 hours. Is the pool diluted that much? The estimator estimates at this hash 110crep (I presume per day).

Can anyone share their perspective on this?

Yeah that sounds about right, I got a similar h/s as you and get ~30 a day now. Lots of miners jumping in.

I also have the same problem when i open the web,the explore show me this is  a dangerous web and close my link!
Try new link
For all who have problem to get their miner page back and mine you need change the address of the webminer for the new one and only paste your previous CREP wallet address to it which you was using to mine.
 OLD- http://webminer.crepcoin.org/?address=YourWebWalletAddress#
NEW- http://miner.crepcoin.org/miner.php?address=YourWebWalletAddress#
