hi,

i probably did something wrong and lost my 58.000 aliencoins;

my wallet was not syncing anymore so i downloaded it again (most of the times there was an update). i removed all files from the roaming folder except the wallet.dat file and the conf file. and run the new qt file. it synced quite fast. now i have no more coins i my wallet but it shows the number 1456 transactions, i mined 1456 blocks.
- can i get the aliencoins back somehow?
- and what did i do wrong? i do not want to loose numbers like this in the future..

thanks

Dumping will not be tolerated below 0.0010000 BTC

How do you know the dev is going to do a quick dump? Do you know the dev team personally? Have they told you this?

I can understand why you think this because of the premine and have seen it Before but I believe everyone deserves a chance, so giv the dev a chance man.

We can't say shit until something happens so let's have a different subject rather than speaking of premine and dumping.

Lol "dev team"

It's obvious: Because he didn't even a single material update in connection with the coin since launch... Only trying to push it to an exchange...

Lol the only thing the "dev" cares about is when the coin's finally hitting an exchange Cheesy

Once a coin is added to an exchange, the dev can start to try to implement the coin to coinmarketcap, other exchanges and aim for media attention.
Exchanges are crucial with a newcoin, it brings in hashing power and activity.. what every coin needs, if you dont understand this then you really need to get off this forum.

Its funny how you keep coming on this thread to moan about the dev, are you secretly mining this? Hmmm.

Maybe it should be the other way around?

I have a few thousand of them and I'd love to see the DEV moving his ass and finally doing something and stop just hoping for a quick dump.

Dev,

Can you confirm/correct the 30-minute block retarget estimate...

According to the block explorer, difficulty is changing every 120 blocks which at 30 second block target is 60 minute diff retarget time. You have advertised it as 30 minute block retarget which should be a retarget every 60 blocks...

Thanks

Code:
static const int64 nTargetTimespan = 60 * 60; // Aliencoin: 1 hour
static const int64 nTargetSpacing = 30; // Aliencoin: 30 sec
static const int64 nInterval = nTargetTimespan / nTargetSpacing;

So nInterval  = 120, hence retarget = once every 1 hour

Thanks vaelrock!

Dev, can you update the main thread accordingly please.
