Dear community members,

We will be hosting a "Social Ops Week" OPAL Bounty and we would like you to do something to get a reward for very simple tasks.
You have 1 week starting Tuesday 24th February at 12PM EST until next Tuesday 3rd February 12PM EST to complete the following tasks.

TASK1 - Twitter: You tweet 10 times during the week using @opalcointeam and #ownyourfreedom in the same tweet.
TASK2 - Reddit: You post 5 times during to relevant subreddits that are about the topics like:

• Privacy
• Security
• Cryptocurrency
• Decentralization
• Distributed Systems

Sample Tweet: Thanks to @opalcointeam I can send encrypted messages without anyone watching #ownyourfreedom

It is entirely up to you what you post each time just follow the 2 simple tasks above. Tweets and posts from you need to be different each time.
You can post a link, a picture, a video, a blog post, something you want to tell us, how cool Opal is to you, etc.
You can be as creative, funny as you like but we will only be rewarding tweets and posts that are supportive of Opal.
Just make sure you complete all 20 tasks by the end of the bounty.

We will reward 800 OPAL to everyone who completes both Task1 and Task2 by next Sunday 12PM EST.
We will also be monitoring all submissions during the week and will have 2 grand prizes of 1200 OPAL each.
We will choose between the ones who stand out for their originality, creativity and best feedback (i.e. retweets, quotes, etc).

• 1000 OPAL for Best Tweet
• 1000 OPAl for Best Reddit Post

During the week we will also be retweeting, and commenting the posts we like the most.

Every time you do a new post or tweet add the link to it to your reply below which you can edit by clicking "Modify".
Retweeting and reposting the same statment will not count towards your totals.



You can modify your participation post below as many times as you want before the end of the bounty.

Is Opal Drive confirmed somehow? I asked once if there were a collaboration between Storj and Opal on the Storj thread but the devs denied it.

Opal is like a better/quicker version of Counterparty with added functionality as encrypted file transfer capabilities once STORJ rolls out. I am fine with how long it is taking since you want the service to run smooth from the start. It is going to encompass the entire world so it isn't something you can just publish and cross your fingers on. If the service price for STORJ stays high based on market demand vs sell off (500M Coins for SJCX) then you can quickly see how undervalued Opal is right now. 15M coins for Opal and .02 cents per STORJ right now and 33 times more STORJ out there. But STORJ also allows the coin to be Mined but that is the basis of the service so it will only grow as the service grows. STORJ Users will Mine from their TB's of storage for people to use, their storage must be available in order to mine so the fundamentals of uninterrupted storage are there. If we just take the current price at .02 cents and times it by 33 Opal should be at .66 cents per coin. Or if you take the actual price of Opal and multiply by 33 you still get .21 cents per coin. Way undervalued.

The main thing that makes Opal worth something is the fact that you will be able to get something for it. That something is Storage space and the capability to transfer securely to other wallets. Not many other coins can say they are worth something since they have to translate back into BTC in order to be worth anything.  

So, what does the future reserve for Opal?
