Then Clif High should NEVER say the code was fine.
Because he wouldn't even be able to login to test out the features.
So I assume Clif High was lying.
What? Are you telling me your team never test the Alpha out before releasing it for public testing?
Come on, man. Give me a break.
Just because it is an Alpha does not mean it is okay to have lots of defects.
Edit:
It's not Populous' fault that Clif High made a wrong statement.
It's Populous' fault that the Alpha version has so many errors that by right should never be there in the first place.
The fact that users cannot even login successfully indicates the team never test the version out themselves.
If so, that lead me to wonder if the team really cares about what they are doing.
Imagine a house in Alpha state, in the process of construction.
Then you invite a public tour inside the house.
But the door is not even there.
So the public cannot even get into the house!
Of course you may give me the BS that "Of course it is under construction. It doesn't even have walls yet so you can just walk right in."
Bullshit. I cannot even walk into the house despite having no walls.
