Hi MassiveStroke. We don't plan on doing airdrops, but we plan to have a decent size budget for bounty program so Veil can be earned in more ways than mining and staking.

we are always looking for ways to improve and appreciate your advice.
The budget is relatively higher than some other projects' budgets, and we're definitely aware of the need for the budget to be reasonable. The reason it is designed that way, is we want to prevent a situation where we have inadequate budget to properly develop and market the project. It is easier to deal with excessive budget, than inadequate budget.
To deal with excess budget, we plan to have a simple and effective solution, so that the amount of funds we hold stays below the stated budget cap. It will be updated in the ANN and our other material once a lawyer has confirmed there is no issues with the simple solution.
The founder has also used considerable funds of his own so that it will be a fully functional and highly competitive privacy cryptocurrency by mainnet launch, so there is a decent size Founder's Reward.
To ensure budget funds are used efficiently, we will have monthly transparent budget reports. We will take budget use feedback very seriously and always strive to use the budget responsibly and effectively.
The bounty program funds will come from the budget. More details such as amount of funds for bounty will be given when the bounty program goes live. Please sign up for the newsletter if you would like to be informed of bounty start date by email.

We think it’s important people know when mining starts well in advance, to have as many people mining right from the start. We will ofcourse keep putting the word out in multiple ways!

The main dev isnt novice. It will be necessary to test the main code and privacy by my hands, but at the moment everything looks very good in veil. Will there be a bounty or other means of promotion in the community?

This is a valid question, thanks cryptoam. I hope when you consider that there's no premine or ICO, a cap on what surplus can be stored (you'll have to hold for more details on that however), and that a good amount will be paid out to bounties, you'll find it reasonable. The last thing we want is to be without the funding necessary to be the best project we can—I'm sure you're aware of some happenings lately along these lines.
