Yes. The game is quite active. Still the activity is outh to be a lot better, as it is by far the best game where you can earn satoshis by having fun.

Better start now than later. You will have a better results, as the results stacks up.

Assumably you must have made some sort of calculation for this response, but what is that based on?  With separate cooldowns on resources gold and above, circuits, components etc. there should still be enough of a controlled wait on crafting.

If you look at CPUs for example (the former money maker), not much has changed except you can smelt copper plates without a cooldown. Smelting gold with a separate cooldown will still stand at 7 minutes for 8 bars, and CPUs at 21.5 minutes.  As it stands right now, people can still continuously smelt 80 gold every 7 minutes and store that up and make the CPUs later.  Does the order really matter?  Things are still in a controlled time line.  So you can incrementally craft faster yes-- but is it enough for "almost non-stop crafting"?  That all combined with energy cost, shortages, half sell price of new, item buyout, quantity purchase inflation etc etc.  I can't imagine people can still "non-stop craft", but I am interested in your reasonable argument to accessorize your statement, in case I am missing something.

There is of course the possibility my suggestion isn't as balanced until put into practice, but certainly some adjustments can be made to straighten it out.  I just think that crafting one single item type shouldn't stop the ability to craft every item type.  There should still be some variety here.  With almost every activity requiring resource handling (with the exception of some direct paying jobs from stations or hunting for bounties), most of this game commands a lot of management in the crafting department.

I meant that 'rare' is for low mining level and could be mined pretty often on high level. I've showed how it's could be, like got hit by pirates every shot because I have low Evading skill Smiley

Imagine us as newbies. We have Buckshot-N and scanner+laser. We scanned the area (5min cooldown), mined asteroid (5min), now we have 5 minutes to smelt and craft anything Smiley When we able to buy 2nd ship, our smelting skill will be enough to reduce cooldown to ~30 seconds. It is if you choose craftsman's way, but you choose to be a hunter and now want quickly gain craftsman's skills.
I may be wrong, but I see it in that way.

I'm proposing lifting the cooldown on copper - argentum basically, keeping it for every resource above these in the refining department and everything else belonging to the factory. By keeping cooldowns in place for factory and half the refinery it will still be a good balance for the higher skilled (the highest skilled in your case) But what is different is separate cooldowns on each type of crafting, so when building something you aren't stuck waiting to smelt some copper plates because you just built a few components.  Anyway, I think what the developers did was necessary, but there is still room to tweak certain things to make the game more enjoyable.  It would be nice to be able to have options after crafting a few components, I know I've got to wait so it would be nice to mine during that time and be able to make plates while I'm waiting.

Fair enough digger, you are arguing the semantics of 'rare'.  I'm not sure if you are trying to undermine my point or agreeing with me, but don't forget I'm suggesting keeping the cooldown on those rare mined base items, so old players with a really high mining level can't take more advantage than new players.  You obviously forget how often those items show up when mining skill is at a beginner to intermediate level.  Either way, yea I think my suggestions still stand with confidence.

Hi Toecutter & company, I've mentioned some of this to you before but I've refined this idea a bit.  Anyway I'd like to offer a suggestion about the way the cooldown times operate for crafting.  In my opinion I think it would be a good balance for new players and old if it were work like this:

-Make separate cooldowns for crafting type--- refining, circuits, components, equipment, ammo, other.  Once a top tier item has been smelted and you have to wait in some circumstances 51 minutes, your resource handling is now totally penalized when activities like mining are affected by the crafting meter.  It really limits what you can do while waiting for the cooldown (come here and complain about it while waiting  Grin )  For example new players would still be able to smelt copper plates while waiting for stuff like 20nm pcbs to cooldown, and continue mining.

-Remove cooldown times on smelting most ores.  Let's face it, the current value of ores makes it extremely difficult for new players to advance early on in the game, the mountain to climb early on is too despairing when people see the first three items sell for 1 satoshi in almost every circumstance (some stations pay 0...).  You're forced to smelt here to make any funds, yet the cooldown time in place is just another road block.  I think it would be fairly relieving to be able to produce low-tier plates without limit.  Nobody gets super rich off of producing these but with a proper momentum they can advance at a more reasonable pace by mining and smelting.

-Keep cooldown times on higher end metals like gold-timonium, and gems.  Since these items don't get mined often enough from asteroids i consider it reasonable to keep the cooldown here.  The cooldown already in place would keep the balance for seasoned players from taking too much advantage.

Equipment manufacturing takes multiple components, plates and other resources.  Yet players are forced to buy most of the items from stations or marketplace (if it's available from either), and everything requires an extremely laborious amount of crafting to make use of certain equipment blueprints.  I've been working on building something for almost 2 months now and still have a long way to go, mostly because of cool down times shared between every item type!  I really think this should be reexamined, perhaps some of what I'm suggesting you would agree with..

Those guys out there are implying, that there are some problems with the epay. They think they might be insolvent, as they have some problems with withdrawals

Right now im in the process of withdrawal of some Doge from the epay. It says it will take 4 days for them to make it.

I will contact you after that time how it fared for me. I would suggest to wait with giving them any of your funds until the matter solve itself.

BUG. Reward for job 'Cleanse sector' when we must kill all pirates, depends on distance from station-employer. So killing 10 pirates in same sector for 19 satoshi not fair reward Smiley

That's strange, as far as I know, the distance plays minor role in the reward calculation. Thanks for the report.



I was thinking that the prices like 1 satoshi per copper and iron being the same to sell is kind of wrong. Sometimes I see on green station 0 satoshi to sell for the ore.

I know that the ores might not be intended to sell in their natural state. I know that was not inteded, but was a result of the price of bitcoin. The bitcoin might go even higher in the future.

Maybe you could make everything lower in quantity, like:

- mining less ore
- better pirates or with less loot
- planets mining speed lowered

Then you can increase the costs of every materials, making them more expensive.

Just an idea.

Yes, this is a good idea and a very valid concern. We'll probably have to do something like that, it's just hard to rebalance everything up the crafting chain.
