on screenshot job complete, but 1 asteroid still required
this minor bug with updating job progress.
Ahh, gotcha. Yeah, fixing the job progress display turned out to be harder than expected, due to some optimizations/caching we have in place. Still working on this.
That is semi-known over-arching bug we have in SG2. If there's a fatal error, chances are the render loop will stop working (although the HTML parts still work). If that happens to you, just refresh the page. And if you can reproduce this reliably, please report.
dear toecutter,
How about the possibility to camouflage the missiles I fired with a cloaking device? And with a special scanner disguised ships and rockets to make visible. And the better the scanner is the larger the area around the player in the camouflaged units are displayed. Example. SCN-A = 100 meters, SCN-B 200 meters, and SCN-C 300 meters. I think it is a good idea and it would give the scanners a further possibility of use.
It already works exactly like that with Mines. I'm not sure about the rockets, but I'll add it to the list for team to discuss.
Also, I've been receiving questions about IPX shares, so I guess it's time to reveal more info. The feature is not 100% complete, but here goes:
It's a meta item, similar to coffee. One share always costs
IPX budget divided by number of shares in existence (If IPX has a budget of 1000 satoshi and there are 2 shares in the galaxy, each costs 500 satoshi). When players buy Premium Accounts, we invest a tiny % of that to bitcoin mining. The proceeds from that mining go back to IPX faction, growing it's budget. (We will likely fine-tune this mechanism many times over, so watch out). There are other ways for IPX to grow it's budget, so if you help them, you kinda grow your stake too. (Again, much to be fine-tuned here).
So the price for this item can vary wildly from day to day. And it's as much of a gamble for us as much as it is for players, but we'll try to make it more "stable" and less risky for both parties.
I guess that's it. Ah, worth mentioning, this feature was proposed by a player (can't tell who), so special thanks to him.
Update.
- [BUG] Remove ability to evict own ships.* (@matek1234)
- [BUG] Make sure only 1 durability point is subtracted at a time. (@FUCKUP, @?, @?)
*This bug has another side, with a broken marketplace, yet to be fixed.
I would also like to personally thank everyone who have made donations. We weren't exactly sure if we could even stay afloat with the constantly diminishing ad revenue, but you guys have successfully secured our server costs for 1 more year. (We still will be responsible for refilling faucet balances during that year, but at least the server will not vanish, and that's a great comfort).
