I feel that price correction of Sia is just coming to an end and from this point we will move up really strong.
Development is first class and this coin is on my radar to add more to my holdings.

I bought 1 million on this down turn. I think its blue skies soon...

Is there anything major in the pipeline for Sia currently?

I'd say this is pretty major news that seems to be unrecognized.  Sia accomplished a working backend S3 style server using Minio.  This coin should be going up in value.  Imagine an Imgur(ish) type service based on Sia storage.  If you're running a service and storage cost is giving you the blues, here's your solution!

Got to get the wallet faster, it's so clunky right now and user (un)friendly.

Love the idea of Sia, but there's more work to do.

Hi guys! i'm new here so Welcome Everyone
i got a question about SC, i bougth some a while ago, made a small income (day trading), then i got excited and bought some more at 820 sat. and now im really unsatisfied because its over a month later and the price is what it is, do you predict a chance for it to bounce back up again?
cheers

Awesome. You have bought the top of an 50x pump.  Undecided

I guess Sia could go down to 50-80Sat until end of the year. Better be patient with buying back guys  Wink

Come off the crap. SIA is fixing to moon soon! BET ON IT!!!

I doubt that so soon it will have that price again. See that the price is below 300 satoshi and may drop more, as @khash4u said:

I don't think your going to have an opportunity to sell again above the 800 sat for a while now, If anything the price will continue to drop to around 150-240 sat low

I sold my SC, I'll buy when the price goes down more

Yep that was when the coin was pumped before the secret announcement when everyone thought it was big news, after the obelisk announcement it all came tumbling down.

Sia is a really wonderful project,
but it is rather plain. It seems that it has gone bad and it is now the price.
That way, if the project gets in orbit it will get bigger.

How is Sia different from Storj? Which one is better and why?

Because Sia are hungry, see why here from the article Their invention is valued at $250 million. Here’s why they’re not satisfied: http://www.bostonglobe.com/business/2017/08/07/sia/sUZ0p3EEAsgVuL2aGCeqEJ/story.html?event=event25
While Storj simply issues multiple ICO's to make the ones on top rich.

Thank you. I actually have SIA 1.3 which is the latest version. I did copy the blockchain I downloaded from one of the thread to the correct folder. I had it perfectly working, it was when my computer restarted that i couldn't run it again. Is my only option to reinstall again? That actually took 2 days even with the blockchain copied over. Thank you for all your help.

I would try first just deleting the old installation folder and installing the client again. That should not affect the blochain, that it is located at $HOME/Library/Application Support/Sia-UI/sia/consensus

Second thing I would attempt is deleting the folders "wallet", "transactions", "host, "renter" and so with the exception of "consensus" (the blockchain) that are located at $HOME/Library/Application Support/Sia-UI/sia/ Unless you are renting or hosting there will be no problem.

Lastly, if that doesn't work I would delete the consensus folder and try to open Sia again. To accelerate the initial sync, download from here the most recent file from here: https://siawiki.tech/daemon/bootstrapping_the_blockchain

Finally the coins arrived at Bittrex, it just took a while. If you have similar problems, just keep calm and don't panic, its just damn slow Angry

I am very happy to read that  Smiley
