What's the last news for sia? It seems a bit dead recently.

Do you plan on adding new exchanges to the list?

arbitrage alert. bittrex siacoin=543 sats , cryptopia sc= 585 sats.
For those who have a quicker hands and those who have ready btc from both exchange can take this advantage but make sure that all the wallet is functioning and theres no issue with particular exchange before falling to this trap arbs really a good way to earn just needed some good backgrounds before dealing so.

hahahha thats what happen when you hold the right coin.

it happen also with people holding his eth till today

Who is he invested a lot of amount in SIA coin? there are many big whales who invested a lot of amount in SIA coin?
But nobody doesn't know what is going to be the future of SIA coin let's wait and see.

~8 months ago you could have bought a million Sia for $200, but not many knew about it back then. The Sia reddit thread was a ghost town back then.

they wrote something about withdrawals problems.that is why i love siacoin. perfect communication and transparency. when withdraw problems started they made a announcement about how to fix and they fixed perfectly.

and siacoin is pushing 600 satoshi now  Smiley

Exactly what I love about the developers too. They are always accessible, I had some bugs when trying out hosting and it was resolved within minutes after posting on the slack.

With the withdrawal issues, its not common for coins to face this, when going from 100k users to 1 mil + users in a matter of days.
But the way they handled it was impeccable.

Anybody tried hosting his files on Sia network?

That's what I'm interested in, much more than few cents of speculations like you cheapos.

I'd like to try store 10 GB of files on the network, interested in costs, bandwidth, redundancy, ecc.

I set up SIA a few days ago. I was mostly interested in providing hosting, but decided I'd throw some files on there just to experiment.

I must be missing something... They pitch $2 for a TB / month. I created an allowance of 5000 SC, and uploaded only 361MB. After a few hours I spent 1001 of my 5000 allocation. That means $10+ for 361MB. That's insane.

Huh?

I think the problem is the price of the tokens increased so fast, that not all hosts have adjusted their prices.

Maybe due to that yeah

For me it worked out much cheaper.

Im planning to use it for storing some videos, lets see how that works out.

I wish they had tester bonus or rewards ...
