I dumped my bag of silk coins a few days ago, i'd be very surprised if the price ever goes back above .000035

Get out now or go down with the sinking ship, i did and i certainly haven't regretted the decision, you can even make your losses up by investing in a real coin with a future. Wink

A mod will deal with this parasite Smiley He has been reported already for trying to blackmail other coin developer to send him 0.5BTC or spread rumours on their thread.

Best to do guys is to use the ignore button and report button.

Focus your attention to a positive thread and ignore this parasite

I have PMed the mods also with multiple links about the blackmail their constant FUD that has been dis-proven and still they haven't done anything.

Anyway we can start a new Self-Moderated thread and move to there? That way we have a bit more control and can just delete the FUD comments and any replies to the FUD comment that quotes it?

Meh.  Self - mod is for pussies.

Well we obviously do not have enough people here who know how to use Ignore and NOT quote them.

whenever megaman spams this thread, simply place this here afterwards to remind people why he is doing it (trying to extort money)

http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=zwyzwh&s=8#.U6XzPrEuI6U

but remember, he's only here to help people!!! he wants to help people soooo much that it only takes 0.5 btc to stop his righteous mission  Roll Eyes

Also photoshops lies and tries to extort other devs and coins.  A proven liar.

Cannot agree more with what you said. Lets focus on Silkcoin and the whitepaper.

Anyway did i understand correctly there willbe fullnodes in the network serving content to the clients? I really like to see more details on this. Also if there are rewards on running a full node. I suspect this is where some fee of ads come in as a reward for running the fullnodes but correct me when im wrong.

Stormia just ignore the parasite , most of the bitcointalk forum have already Grin

Yes - ignore me and close your eyes and throw away your money. Great advice. We'll see who's right in the end. I've clearly been correct so far. Sometimes the truth hurts.

But we've had a chat through PM stormia. And I've been right every single time. The longer you hold the more you lose. Nobody believes that shit you idiot. Just like nobody believes you're a doctor. Doctors don't buy Silkcoins. You are one of the dumbest people I've ever had the displeasure of communication with. Get lost jackass and choke on your bag of soon-to-be-worthless Silkcoins. You were scammed. Accept it and move on.

I never said I was a doctor. I said if I was in the bottom 10% of intelligence (which you said I was), then the 90% above me must have doctorate degrees- doesn't necessarily mean I have mine yet (currently working on it). So, thanks for demonstrating your own level of intelligence again. Scammer.

Oh okay - sorry I misinterpreted your pretentious bullshit that means absolutely nothing in regard to intelligence. Obviously it doesn't take a genius to get into a doctorate program - just somebody willing to put in the time. You got in and you were dumb enough to buy Silkcoins and continue to think you have a smart investment. You're too dumb to look at every other scam just like it that has fallen on its face and realize the same will happen here. You're too dumb to realize a 4.5% premine is significant and means the coin will be worthless. Take a hike, bozo.

Right. If you are allowed to gauge my intelligence through a few online interactions, then I shouldn't be allowed to use the level of my education as a metric...

I'm also gauging your intelligence through a few online transactions - you bought Silkcoins. That alone makes you pretty dumb (or at least gullible). Then you asked for evidence as to why Silkcoin was a scam. I provided conclusive evidence that would prove beyond a reasonable doubt in any civil court in the world that Silkcoin was a scam and the dev was a fraud. You said, "ha that isn't evidence that proves nothing!!!11" Okay - then you're stupid. Case closed on both.

Okay so you can continue to lie, but it will only dig your hole deeper. Your reputation is already tainted.

"I provided conclusive evidence that would prove beyond a reasonable doubt in any civil court in the world that Silkcoin was a scam and the dev was a fraud. " What a fucking joke. All you could tell me, over and over again, is that Silkcoin has a 4.5% premine, and that they didn't update it from 2% to 4.5% when the community decided to cut the pow reward down... Guess what, I already knew that and that is not evidence that it is a scam.

Here is conclusive evidence that you are a scammer. Even an idiot like me can see that Wink

Yes a Firebugged screenshot proves that. I prove things with facts and numbers and history and data. That means nothing to you. You have no common sense. You aren't even fit for jury. You deserve to lose your money and you will lose your money.

Guess what, I already knew that and that is not evidence that it is a scam. Premine addresses are public, remember? I asked you for a blockchain audit to show that those addresses have dumped. Where is that evidence?

It's not a bad idea. This thing is off the rails on a crazy train. A self-modded thread is like a nice padded cell for the people still holding Silkcoins.

Probably a good idea. The coin is dead anyway and anybody with half of a brain has already gotten out. Start a new moderated thread and let everybody live in their fantasy land so you can all lose your money in peace. Honestly it would be a load off for me too - I won't be tempted to contribute facts/etc if I know they'll just be deleted. Please - this is a good idea for everybody.

It's not rising again you goons - it's only going to go in one direction: down. You idiots keep comparing it to Blackcoin because that's the code the dev copied and pasted but the primary differences are Blackcoin was first and there's no need for a duplicate... and Blackcoin had a 0% premine where Silkcoin premined over 2 million coins (which were all PoS eligible). Sure the dev gave away a few hundred coins here/there to get you all voting on MintPal so they could dump but they premined half of the coins in circulation! This is a really bad investment! In one week come tell me I was wrong.

7 days from today I will pm you to tell you that you were wrong

I can't wait. Mark your calendars, fellas.

you must wait 7 days

Looking forward to that PM telling me I was wrong. The price is down 200% since I made this post (each day it hits a new all-time MintPal low). The price is currently down 350% from the MintPal high. The last trick this scammer had up his sleeve was the "whitepaper" and it didn't work - people are finally starting to wake up and realize this guy isn't a real developer. He copied and pasted a coin and added some CSS to the Qt wallets. He didn't even bother to change the BlackCoin address prefix - still starts with a "B" - using old ass source code to launch a new coin. You guys were willing to gamble on a coin with a 4.5% premine and a lying dev you don't know the first thing about all because he added CSS to the wallet? It was such an obviously bad investment I struggle to understand how anyone actually fell for it. How can anyone say with a straight face I'm not right?

So komodovpn - I waited my 7 days. I'm expecting that PM.

Guess what, dipshit? I was fraudulently given that rating from people IN THIS THREAD. Notice how nobody ever disputes what I say or provides counterpoints in this thread? They just want to bury my posts. There is no disputing facts - they know they've been had. So they post a bunch of crap that pollutes the thread and buries my posts. Then they tried to discredit me with bullshit. Why do I have a -6 rating? No idea - 1 bad rating from 1 guy and it's complete bullshit. In fact, I figured out who the guy is (in real life) so if the mods don't resolve it I will consider rattling his cage with some low-level legal action. Probably the best I can get is forcing him to pay a fine but at least it will be on his record.

Hey this sounds like the trolls.... Doesn't this sound familiar in this thread?

 And its about bitcoin.

"It is a Ponzi Scheme/Scam/etc. - and why I am playing... Let me see if I get this straight..... A "currency" was created out of thin air and now people are spending hundreds of dollars each for one reason: the belief that some other fool will pay more for it later."

"Sounds like a perfect way to gamble a couple hundred dollars and see if this Ponzi Scheme takes off turning my couple hundred into a couple thousand (or more)."

"Could I lose it? Of course. But I am having a lot more fun than gambling a couple hundred on a casino boat. Still likely to lose my money but a whole lot better chance of walking away with more money. Play the game. Have fun. Plan on losing your money. But if I catch it just right, and get out JUST IN TIME, then I will benefit while the last ones in lose their money.

It's a Ponzi Scheme and just remember that - and have fun.............."

"You lose more than you can get All this bitcoin is a big scam, you support the network with hardware, time and electricity to process the transactions but eventually you give way more than you get! The only people who benefit from this currency are the initiators and the people causing the inflation, its a smart scam, a digital one."

"scam -- not backed by anything but faith A real national currency, if not backed by gold silver, is backed by the economy and military might and legal system of the issuer. This is backed by nothing, but "faith"."

"And also looking at the various exchanges there is a large gap, for example on one exchange now the bid/asked ( in $) is 115.5by 115.8, and on another it is 113.3.. By 113.3..--a potential instant profit on arbitrage--what is that all about??"

"the latest nonsense, defended by the parochially "knowledgeable" There is no supporting, stable (= governmental) infrastructure. Security depends upon software deployed on readily hacked Microsoft Windows platforms. Security depends upon continual re-verification of transaction logs that can be forged and destroyed. "Money" has value because an entity with control over the economic behavior of millions or billions of people--and with governance over trillions or quadrillions of dollars--is willing to back it. Bitcoins are beyond foolishness. Why not peanutbuttercoins?"

"This is an INCREDIBLE scam. The difficulty with Bitcoin is the production of Bitcoins, which are unregulated and not transparent to the world. There is nothing to prevent a sudden surge in Bitcoins being dumped by a creator, a major cash-in, and anyone who pays in legal fiat will be left with nothing. Oh, Bitcoins."

"Yes. Bitcoin could be a scam. I do not know a whole lot about Bitcoin, but there is always a chance something new is a scam. If people are looking to use it then they should do as much research before hand to get all their facts straight. Right now, there are many scams out in the world and it is important to be on our toes."

"Yes Bitcoin is a scam. Yes, I think that Bitcoin is a scam and makes people believe that they are receiving free money. Bitcoin is just as open to being scammed as normal, tangible money and I think that just because it is a different way of offering currency people think that they are getting a deal when they are not."

"Doesn't add up... Unregulated and without any fundamental value! Derr! Consider this an entirely invented medium of exchange that has not basis in fundamental value or agreed and recognised unit of exchange. It is an unregulated finite supply of nothing, artificially inflated to exploit unsuspecting persons. The only persons who win are he early inflators who get out leaving a void of nothing while the unsuspecting persons are left with literally nothing."

"Whatever Happened to Ethics? BitCoins take advantage of this emerging digital market by selling this "opportunity" to be part of the next BIG THING by preying on the down economy and regular people who will willingly trust, for an amount they normally could afford to lose, that exchange will fulfill its role. Maybe it does for a little bit but meanwhile A LOT of newly entrants are losing money in unviable fluctuations while people in the know, or the technogeek-geniuses, are making a killing by "pretending" to get their digital blocks compromised = only 46% of the pending transactions get refunded, if you're lucky enough to get a refund. Try searching up about these communities' no email back response on your cancelled transaction with your money floating in the air."

"Now, add drug lord money and corrupt gov't officials gambling their bribe money online for complete anonymity---do you see the bigger picture now? I'm sure there are bots tracking all our posts here in the digital cloud right now with the BIG 500 Companies doing analytics on the viability of this digital extension."

"Would you contribute to this QUESTIONABLE underground "over the cloud" trade? I call this the new online gambling. I just hope your mode of payment wasn't digital or you'd have Big Brother all over you not long from now cryptocollecting your info for which 10 years for now could be used to: (fill in blanks here): ie. Take money from your online account incrementally over 40 years without you knowing or just plainly stealing your identity. Remember these underground economy grows exponentially."

"If this free market model constantly attracts new people with ever increasing acceptance of low integrity transactions and the medium of exchange eventually runs out of memory to create new mediocre trading platforms (Bitcoins can only have about $21M digital currency and we now have about $11M floating), what happens next?"

Hmmm..  shoulda listened to all the folks that called bitcoin a scam.

Relax, smoke a joint,  buy more Silk.
