I think bigger chunk is better, because your weight is then higher and that is why your chance of getting stake is higher too.
I dont know if its about weight, since our weight is static depends on the number of coins we have. i got a loose stake rewards of 2.5 SIRX and it just hit a stake 2 days ago i dont know if its just luck

Are you sure about this ? I thought the first stage of distrubtion will end on january 31th, I think this is what I saw on the slack channel. Weird...there is no information about this in the OP

Try also joining the discord channel . It is great place to be informed and discuss about the project because it has integrations with slacks/telegram. I don't know about the other though
