Copy keystore in Soil folder or a whole Soil folder before you do anything.

hey guys I will try that next firewall etc... plus I am on windows 10 

will that mess up my password for gsoil and soilsafe that I have already created? and have coins in the network waiting to arrive at my account addy too lol(when I ever get gsoil updated)

Everyone who cannot sync - don't forget to DELETE OLD SOIL FOLDER FIRST!

Yeah, firewall/antivirus could be blocking key compenents the program needs to run, not sure. If you do "start over" make sure you save the file in your KEYSTORE and put it back once you have done a clean install. This will save your coins. Im running on win10 and its going fine.

Don't give up

Try to turn off firewall, antivirus... or add gsoil into allowed zone. Even reboot your PC, it is very helpful. Or, delete all - start over.

ahhh still no luck with gsoil. I think I need to walk away from it for a bit lol

my mining is fine on supr, but nowhere to send my coins yet.

Gsoil runs very smooth on another PC but cannot sync on my main PC. This is how I temporary fix the problem.

1. Run gsoil: gsoil.exe --rpc --prcaddr 192.168.1.8 --rpcport 39421 (My solo conf)

It does not sync. Just leave it there.

2. Run gsoil attach: gsoil.exe attach

3. Add nodes on page 1: copy & paste into gsoil attach

I have tried adding those nodes but not sure I am putting them in the right place lol, can you post a copy of you conf? or explain a little more. I have never had this problem. ethereum has worked fine for me... so maybe I am missing something critical lol

I got the same problem before. So, I added all nodes at page 1. Sync right away.

testnet mining and node hosting bounties have been sent out. there are a few contributors that didnt provide new wallets, but they have been sent private messages... ill be updating the community reserve ledger tomorrow (my brain is just too tired to make sure i do a perfect accounting job on it) and will work REALLY HARD tomorrow on getting replies from those exchanges so that you all have somewhere to spend those hard earned SOIL. thank you all for helping get us off the ground, even though the first hur and change after launch was a little insane with the megaminers going nuts on our blockchain.

I run gsoil and still doesn't sync? I can open Soilsafe,  I see my acct. and supernova is sending my payments to that acct addy, but without my gsoil updated ... I am not seeing those coins in my Gui wallet... any suggestions on what I am missing with syncing gsoil? I have about 53 coins somewhere lol

Block explorer shows my address and proper coin balance.
