Was it the decision of Sparkster to cancel the listing or was it Kucoin who refused to start the trading and decided to cancel the listing? Is there any reasonable explanation what led to this cancellation?

And exchanges are idex, bilaxy and coinexchange. they had a whole year to secure a deal.

They finally told major exchange is kucoin (it is an ok exchange but everybody expected bigger) and yet kucoin postponed at the last minute telling that they are having technical problems (it is an erc20 token).

What you mean "was fine"? The thing that they promised unrealistic 10 mln TPS and had hype does not mean that project are good. Egretia for example had hype as well and now scammed investors.(
10 mln TPS not possible nowdays, and no one project dont have even 1 mkn TPS in testnet.
