Why must the cards be so expensive though ? I mean I love the idea and the game but you need like 1btc for a good collection and maybe 0.25-0.5 for an ok one. Seems very high. But I do noticed the quantity is low. So maybe it is a good investment I do not know.
Reason why old cards are expensive is that price of BTC doubled and and so is price of BCY. That make cards 4 times more expensive. Also first cards was put on sale wrong way. This was changed about 10 months ago, with partner, premium and public merchant.
Right now was issued new card. in 1200 lot so is in range of second most cheap ones and for Partners is 40 BCY or right now $6.4. When it will hit public merchant will be 20% more. This is price at which EDS issue 1200 lot cards. In one month when these cards will hit public merchant BTC can double its price. That will double its price, since EDS made a commitment that will never offer cards cheaper as is for the first time ( so now to partner merchant). Price of HUNTERCARD will be 48 BCY on public merchant even if that will be $50 at that time. But new card in this range they will issue again at $6 of BCY. That means that rare will buy this expensive HUNTERCARD. Those that need it for game for sure not. Only collectors will. Some cards that are in same range as this 48 BCY card was sold at 1000 BCY a year and more ago. You cant expect those that paid 1000 BCY for them will now resell it at 50 BCY. Yes they will have troubles to get for them as much as paid, but they will for sure nto have competition by unsold EDS cards, since EDS made commitment to not sell cheaper. Those unsold EDS cards, will most likely stay unsold forever and only like 100 cards will be in circulation what will not onyl make them expensive but also rare.
