Before someone says why don't you just email Spondoolies, I have more than once and no reply.
Can someone please explain the Spondoolies shipping queue to me... My current understanding is...
August Batch 1
Roadstress GB
August Batch 2
Now people have been told that the GB will ship between 15th-30th of August. How can they ship the GB as late as the 30th if there was an August batch 2 that succeeded it?
Are they shipping Batch 2 before the GB or are they shipping Batch 2 late?
Cheers,
It could be the GB is part of Batch 2.
Ok even if you count the GB as the START of Batch 2 it still dosen't make sense for them to start shipping it on the 30th and not come out late with some of Batch 2/GB. I mean there was close to 400 units in the GB and we have no idea how many were sold after that under the name August Batch 2... Since they allowed up to 1100 units to be purchased in the GB I imagine the shortfall was made up after the GB closed under the name August Batch 2.
Do you think it is plausible that they will ship 400-1100 units in two days if they start shipping the GB/Batch 2 on the 30th?
400-1100 units is easy to ship in two days.
Isn't most of the GB for colocation or a nice chunk of it, pallets can be shipped / moved to the data center quickly. 200-300 units can be shipped in a matter of minutes on pallets. I've never received smaller than a pallet except for a single SP10 if they ship them individually its a simple software program that will print one label for each miner on order that isn't a pallet, slap a label on a box and wait for it to be picked up.
Boxing them is very quick.
Yeah....that's just the shipping part.... but what about building them?
Spondoolies has droned on before that they build test and ship a unit in a 24Hr period, that they don't hold onto it longer than that mining from themselves
if this is true the building rate must match the shipping rate.So since the start of August 20 days ago if they are building/shipping at that rate they must have produced 20*(400 to 1100) units or 8000-22000 SP-30's
That's a total Hashrate of 4500Gh/s*(8000 to 22000) or 36 - 99 Ph/s
Since August the entire network has risen by ~ 40Ph/s
So if they are producing 400 per day then they account for the all the hardware deployed in the month of August (totally ridiculous considering all the other manufactures specifically Bitmain pumping out the S3's)
And to pretend that they have been making 1100 per day is crazy as there simply hasn't been that much Hashrate deployed
in the whole network since the start of August.
EDIT: Just realised that Spond's quoted just now they are making 50-100 units per day
SO how can they ship all 400-1100 units from GB/August batch 2 if they start shipping of the 30th?
