Price went up for late October SP31....$3920

I was hoping for the opposite direction...

I guess Roadstress is the only person with the power to move the price in a more friendly direction...

SP30 Specs.  I am looking for the specs for the maximum CFM air flow for the SP30.

I know that the fan speeds are variable based on temperature/workload, but I am looking for the maximum CFM for the use of heat extraction from a hood vented racking system. It may be in a previous post but a quick search did not reveal for me and the specs on the website show "4x80mm" fans, but not maximum CFM.

Thanks for the help.

fan data sheet, 106 CFM per fan...

In a way, it's good, because the released stock should not be discounted as the machines in the group buy were. In fact, I guess they are now part of the August 2nd batch, if I'm not mistaken.

I'm happy that SP-T keeps the discounts for the group buy based on reservation numbers, instead of the delivery/payment numbers.
All these machines were released 2 weeks after the group buy so the order queue shifted their delivery after the GB date. Nonetheless, Roadstress is the winner here Smiley

Note to self: customers with "volume" sales should do their orders outside group buys which are meant to transfer the eventual volume discounts to individuals, buying 1-10 machines at a time.

Anyway, ~1000 machines at about 5k each is roughly 5 million Smiley If shipped in a month, consistently along the last quarter of 2014, one gets 15 million in pre-order sales .. I know companies with less profits even if the margins are lower than 10% (which I doubt) and selling from stock. I'm not counting on the BTC variance, because there's the option of cashing out at the time of payment. The investment scheme is not usually part of the manufacturing business, so I'll keep it out. I definitely consider the October compensation doable, after SP-T can calculate the profit/loss over the summer sales. The "losses" here are the shipping costs (i.e.). Until all units are actually shipped, that can only be estimated (better or worse).

It's good for us miners that less were sold Cheesy
They were sold to someone(s) else ...
If the original person kept there order and then someone else ordered wouldn't the total amount be greater then if you had stock.
Indeed, but that wasn't the case. After failing to pay for 2 weeks, we've released the stock.

The actual number of paid GB machines were under 200.
They won't ship last.
We'll compensate for the missing hash-rate, as explained.

Edit:
We're honoring the 250 machines price point although less than 200 were actually paid.

Ok so at least there is some clarification. Thanks

searched but found nothing about underclocking the sp30. there was only a conversation about underclocking for running it on 110V circuits.
so anybody have any information about underclocking and extending the sp30 lifetime in light of the giant difficulty increases?

Very easy.
Set max-voltage to 0.675 in settings tab for top and bottom.

UPD:
If you want even lower, ssh to station, and edit /etc/mg_custom_mode to something like:
FAN:60 VST:630 VSB:630 VMAX:640 AC_TOP:1300 AC_BOT:1300 DC_AMP:150

Enjoy.

thanks for the info zvisha and roadstress from previous post.
i am sure most of us would like to know the detailed specs from underclocking.
i save your comment,
hopefully we will need it only from next year :-)

i remember the 185 machine reservation. too stupid for him or her lost 18.5 btc for the reservation.

Clueless!
Edit:
We're honoring the 250 machines price point although less than 200 were actually paid.

I hope enough people see this. I won't praise SP-Tech for this because people trolls will say I am biased, but this should be remembered.

No drama here..but just a note that on the group buy above.....the closed group buy page shows 386 units sold and less then 200 paid for according to Spondoolies...wow!

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/closed-spondoolies-tech-sp30-pre-order-specs-069gh-046wgh-575499

I did not realize that on such group buys (perhaps?) you can have such a drop in NOT paying etc.... Kinda shocked that
almost 50% do not pay..IN FULL....maybe this is common just pointing it out....

One customer, the 185 machines, decided not to honor the reservation.
Above 98% of the rest did.

Well..that certainly will do it....had me wondering there...ouch!

Thanks for your efforts on our behalf on here....good to see the support active on a forum by an equipment seller...it is refreshing ..
and unfortunately unique in my experience.

what the hell do you mean scheduled to ship last !? I didn't see anything in the group buy info stating we would received our machines in September due to them being most discounted...

By scheduled to ship last I meant spondoolies is honoring the shipping qeue, however many units were ordered before the groupbuy even existed, e.g the farmers choice bundle.

Obviously some units were also ordered after the GB, and they will of course ship after the groupbuy units.

Sorry for miscommunicating here, I guess spondoolies has already clarified this.

Also, how did you come up with September? All August units will be shipped in August.
I said September because as far as I am concerned if a machine arrives on they 28th of Aug
Even tho its technical August its really September from a mining perspective.

ok thanks for the clarification, I was hearing the count of 400GB machines bandied about  its much less than I imagined I guess.

thanks Guy
