So far, running a bitcoin full node is the main requirement, plus collateral to prevent sybil attacks.

What do you think is a good level of collateral? The current inherited model is a dynamic changing requirement.

guess what happend at DMD Diamond today....

a 600+ days inactive wallet with 40k DMD (3.5% of total coins)
became active and minted in one day 20k DMD .........

positive is he only sold like 5k

guess he was positive surprised what became out of his 2013 investment

I've been thinking about shortening the name to spread since mr. spread left.
Well, it's very difficult to find any domainname that is spread only,
but we can still just call it spread.

We can think about maybe calling the currency unit itself spread instead of spreadcoin.
e.g.
"How many spread does this sandwhich cost, spread101?"
"Damn, I am out of spread!"
"Wow, someone just gave me 1000 spread, just like that..."
