Small Update:

Mac wallet is ready!

Freshly made!

You can download it here (for now, until the main website at spreadcoin.info /spreadcoin.us is ready):

http://spreadcointalk.org/SpreadCoin-Qt.dmg

I have tested it successfully on Mac Os X 10.7 (Lion) :

... and Mac Os X 10.8.5 (Mountain Lion) :

If someone could test this on their mac too, that would be great.

I have now a nice little mac setup (QtCreator with Macports, multiple system partitions for quick testing...) so I will be able to compile, build and test with ease for mac too:

Only thing I have to do is upgrade both RAM and HD of this little guy.
At the moment I have only 2 Gig installed and no SSD so it takes ages to compile and build, lol...

So if you find my work valuable, please consider a donation:

Thanks.  Smiley

BTW: I am looking into gitian-building for all platforms, but this will take some time to figure out and test, so it's no priority at the moment.

Also: Windows 32bit wallet with daemon can be found here: http://spreadcointalk.org/SpreadCoin32.7z

Stay tuned, more to come very soon...

I sent you 500 SPR just now Smiley Great work Georgem!

Valar nomordumpis.
Maybe it's time to make a brandnew ANN, as it seems apparent Mr Spread isn't returning?

I'm having trouble syncing, any known nodes?

First time can take a while, in my experience.

This is the escrow competition and their fees (in cryto land):

https://www.bitrated.com/agents

Not-entirely-tangentially, this is “soypay” or, as it is now, DACRs (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1005972.0;all) and here are the guides to the DACs available (representing a loose sketch of the approach):

SPR will be delisted from CCEX.

thats ok ...

once everything is re-established - exchanges have no issue putting them back on - as long as the volume is there ...

i should know Wink ...

If he lost his coins and is reading this, I'd provide him 50,000.

You give away 2.5% of exist coins?  distribute of coins not good

I have about 83,000 SPR left.  I'd rather give away 50,000 and have my 33,000 remaining be worth something then to have 83,000 coins not worth selling because they're worth so little.

I thought it was 50k SPR.

Really?

If he comes back, I will give him a horrible kick in the butt.  Cool

I'm pretty wasted ATM, so I'll find his post tomorrow, if he hasn't deleted it

By the way, props to the dev team  Cool

Excellent news... I will test later today on Mac... thanks for the continued effort!

Thanks!

Also: technical question: what's the difference between X11 and SpreadX11? Is there anywhere in the code I can see what the difference is?

SpreadX11 is basically X11.
The difference is that with Spreadcoin a miner doesn't only try to go after the private key of the coinbase transaction,
but a miner must also know the whole content of the block, and he must be the first one to prove and sign that he knows the whole block,
that's what gives the miner the power back that most of todays miners foolishly give away to the pool owners.

That's why with Spreadcoin we have additional information we store in the block header:
MinerSignature and hashWholeBlock

See whitepaper.

coin supply is ~2.2m

Cool, less than I thought for some reason.

According to the only reliable source (the blockchain itself ---> console ---> getinfo) we have a coin supply of 2399743 at this exact moment.
