so, 42 mill. were premined for rewards, giveways, interest for startjoin accounts
millions have been given away in this form, qe for the people!
so if showing 54 million currently total....
take away 42 million. means additional 12 million have been mined normally
if 22.4 million available supply, means 10.4 million have come from premine in giveaways, scratchcards, interest payments on startjoin etc., donations to projects and good causes
Its a bit tricky to find the exact amount of coins available, so unless there is some central authority who gives these numbers the numbers at coinmarketcap must be approximate. There was startcoin 1.0, and then startcoin 2.0. Startcoin 2.0 is now at block 282526.
282526 - at 40 coins/block that means 11 303 440 coins mined. If startcoin 1.0 comes in addition to this then there are more coins mined.
Startcoin 1.0 ran from june 14 to july 21 - 38 days at 57600 coin/day = 2 188 800 coins (probably a lot less due to the mining troubles)
Startcoin 2.0 ran from july 21 to now - 277 days at 57600 coins/day = 15 955 200 coins
The current block count of 282526 only add up to 11 303 440 coins, so average block time must be more than 1 minute, to be accurate 1 minute 24.6 seconds.
