Price of TAG is about to collapse. Dump whatever TAG you have. Price will drop another 90% soon...

You have been warned.
Thanks for that.  I picked up 3000 TAG yesterday at .00011.  Will be buying more so let it drop.   Grin

Yeah buddy that's a good price Smiley

How much did ahmed promise to give you?  10 TAG?  Post your TAG ID or address...

Regarding yesterday issues, did you report it to ahmed or myself or open a ticket?

Regardless, I will look into it.

He said he was going to fix it so the account shows 0 (as that's what it was at when I last used it) and give me a small kicker, and apparently credited the wrong account, then he said he'd get to it when he makes some changes to the front end. This was a day or 3 ago (can't remember). I'm not in a terrible rush, just pointing out that as of today it's still not quite fixed.

This is the first time I've mentioned the mining stuff from yesterday, as I'm just now getting around to check.

I'm still waiting for ahmed to credit my account for a burp in that pool which shows me as -313tag.

Also, I mined there yesterday for several hours, and it shows 0 earned. 0 shares, 0 unconfirmed, 0 everything.

Not knocking ahmed, but until it's fixed I can't trust it. tagmining.com is a great pool.

I would not recommend mining at http://tag.cryptopool.it/. There is something seriously wrong with this pool aside from the slow interface. Most of the time it was just me and my friend mining, but something in the last 24 hours has caused some major issues. So the pool is clearly accepting shares, but here is what I find interesting. I have about 20 unconfirmed TAG from finding block 17847. P2Pool.org lists 18280 as the current block. That is 433 confirms. http://tag.cryptopool.it/'s payout point is 200 confirms. It still lists the block as 106 confirms left.

Is it me or does this pool seem fishy? I've tried to contact the pool owner without any luck.

No affiliations with cryptopools.com.  Smiley  If you don't want the long confirmation time, tag.cryptopools.com offers PPS payout, meaning no confirmation required.

@vesperwillow, want to buy a card for 0.5 BTC each? (or equivalent in TAG.)

I'm interested.. Do we know what brand (if any) ?

We need some beta testers on beta.tagbond.com to test out the exchange side of the platform. There is no wallet depositing or withdrawal, will just add 100 fake BTC or TAG (or whatever you want) to the user account so you can trade it with others and see if it works ok.. if interested just create an account at beta.tagbond.com and post the ID here with your choice of coin to trade, and how much...:-)..see if we can hammer it a bit and make sure the code is ok, and the user interface also. We are adding some improvements as we go, but suggestions from to make it better are welcome and we can take that in as well. Will post this as a separate thread to get some testers..

@Dabs - bought 28 x 280x at 15,000 Pesos each (not going to buy more) ...have a couple running on a windows 8 machine to test and got 750 Kh/s from each one, but have a few setup on xubuntu and cannot get past 600, most at 550, doesn't matter how I tweak them..I reckon it's a combination of motherboard and latest drivers to work with xubuntu 13.10. You are welcome to buy some of the rigs from me if you really want them, then you can tweak them yourself..Wink

I'll even do a personal pick up. Group buy? I'll use Fed Ex if you're in another country. Let's wait and see if he has those GPUs incoming and how much they are.

Mark, can I have the 28 or 98 other GPUs that you won't be using? hehehe. And ... that agent thing sounds interesting. Maybe I should apply as one.

TagCoin has been added to P2Pool.org!

To view the pool stats go here:
http://p2pool.org:28888/static/

To mine TagCoin point your miner to this URL:
http://p2pool.org:28888

For the username you need to generate a public key from your TagCoin wallet.

You can do this by going into the client console and typing "getnewpubkey p2pool" with out the quotes.

Use the public key as the username and anything for a password.

Also visit the TagCoin Block Crawler:
http://p2pool.org/TAG/BlockCrawler/

Happy Mining!

HODL for life.
@ny2cafuse - you forecast what we plan on doing..Wink

I know, mate... I'm in your head.  There's a lot going on in here, but it's cozy.

I'll add laundry and housecleaning to the list of things that I would do for a job as well.  I've roped the wife in.  That's 2 people for the price of 1... a steal!

In all seriousness though, plans sound good.  Keep up the good work, and keep us informed.

@ny2cafuse - you forecast what we plan on doing..Wink - There is no way that I can supply demand once we have more merchants asking for TAG, so we will give miners a section to sell their TAG to businesses in large chunks - probably at a discount to the official price - we are not ready for that yet, but there will be a place to broker larger amounts, via the escrow system, sold to merchants that don't want to bother with the trading side.

We have small salesforce (8 people so far) that will be visiting merchants here in Philippines and educating/selling TAG for the rewards system - we will also be looking for resellers that will do the same thing, for a percentage cut of TAG sold - Haven't decided how much but something between 10% to 20%, depending on the amount sold. If miners want to take part in that, all good. We will be pricing it at $2 to begin with and move up from that as demand comes along. Does not really matter what the price on Cryptsy is, most merchants will be paying in cash for a rewards currency that will bring them back much more than they spend, and they won't have BTC to pay for it, nor the inclination to acquire it. Once we start that ball rolling the price on exchanges should rise to match what we sell it for.

We are still going through the process of Bangko Sentral approval for our eWallet system in the Philippines (TCash) - once that is done, we will be setting up KYC agents that act for cash in and cash out of Pesos. Those same agents will also be given opportunities to sell TAG and Tagbands/cards - it will be a good training ground for Tagbond, ready for wider use - not that I am against sale of TAG elsewhere in the world but it's easier when someone can explain the benefits in person, especially when they have had no exposure to Bitcoin and Crypto currency. Anyone who wants to come on board and act as Tagbond agents in their own countries, PM me..:-)
