I am trying to switch to TRM from Phoenix.

I am using Windows 10 Driver 20.11.1

This is my current config:
teamredminer.exe -a ethash -o stratum+tcp://pool -u EthAddress.Miner1 -p x -d 2,3,5 --enable_compute --eth_aggr_mode --fan_control=65::::20:80,65::::20:80,65::::20:80,65::::20:80,65::::20:80,65::::20:80

I use overdriven to change the cards clock/mem/volt

I have 1 RX5700Xt and 2 RX570.  The rx570s work fine but when I start, TRM detects the 5700 DEAD for a while then starts loading the dag and then mines at around 1k/h second or so.

I am trying the suggested speeds of 1275 core, 1750mem and 850 volts.

Any ideas why this is doing it?  This card can run up to 57mh/s on Phoenix

Thanks
when you use the AMD_Memory_Tweak or AMD_Memory_Tweak_XL program?, it must be run before the start of mining, so that it will enter the necessary parameters, if you run it during operation, then the 5700 video card will fall off (this is what happens to me), if this is not the case, try removing the --eth_aggr_mode parameter and instead choose a softer mode --eth_config=A

Hi guys, there is a strange problem with TeamRedMiner 0.8.1 on the Kawpow algorithm.
TeamRedMiner has full support for Awesome Miner.
But when you start TeamRedMiner through the Awesome Miner interface, TeamRedMiner crashes at this point:
https://i.imgur.com/pIbjpVU.png
At the same time, if you start TeamRedMiner manually, then it works.
If you run diagnostics in Awesome Miner, then everything works in it.
Also Awesome Miner shows error accessing TeamRedMiner API:

This problem occurs on different rigs with different video cards.
All other Kawpow miners (Nanominer NBminer) work fine and have no API errors:

I would be grateful if someone could help  Huh

switching from Phoenix to TRM what are people using to control clocks/mem(did bios for timings).  Ideally it would be a program that can be run using command line like Phoenix but prior to TRM running?

Thanks
look at here
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.56418010

I saw that but it says you cannot use a driver newer than 20.5 and TRM recommends newer drivers?
if you use drivers older than 20.5.1, then the miner will be slightly less efficient in speed and power, but if you use more recent drivers than 20.5.1, then the OverdriveNTool program for changing the voltage most likely will not work, so it is optimal to use version 20.5.1

Thanks,

There is no other program that can do it?  Any plans on TRM adding this feature?

is it possible to add the memory timings in the bat file instead of using amd memory tweak?
look at here
https://github.com/Eliovp/amdmemorytweak

i added these commands in the bat file but trm starts for a second and closes
--cl 18 --ras 26 --rcdrd 12 --rcdwr 4 --rc 37 --rp 13 --rrds 3 --rrdl 4 --rtp 6 --faw 13 --cwl 7 --wtrs 5 --wtrl 5 --wr 14 --rrefd 7 --rdrddd 3 --rdrdsd 2 --rdrdsc 1 --rdrdscl 3 --wrwrdd 3 --wrwrsd 2 --wrwrsc 1 --wrwrscl 3 --wrrd 1 --rdwr 17 --ref 21000 --mrd 4 --mod 12 --xs 216 --xsmrs 216 --pd 7 --cksre 8 --cksrx 8 --rfcpb 148 --stag 7 --xp 7 --cpded 2 --cke 7 --rddata 17 --wrlat 5 --rdlat 14 --wrdata 1 --ckestag 2 --rfc 208
try to set several parameters, if everything is ok, add it and you will understand why it did not start
if you have 580 cards, then why raise the -tref parameter for these cards, it is enough to set the value to 30

I recently switched to teamredminer from phoenix and I see that teamredminer also can use claymore's remote manager.  It was very convenient to change wallet or pool using remote manager function "edit config.txt" or "send config.txt". I tried to create config.txt in teamredminer folder and run it from teamredminer.exe but it didn't work. Can I somehow set a config.txt file for teamredminer like claymore's or phoenix's config.txt with miner settings?

I posted this before but no one has responded.   Hoping someone will see it this time.

I switched my rig over from ETH a week ago to try ravencoin out, got teamredminer.  I have 3 RX480 8GB and they are running at  9.6, 9.6, and 13.3 MH/s.  I also just got 2 580 8gb added to it and it's still the same as the others I have been seeing that the 480 4GB get about this same hashrate, so its making me wondering if mine is a bit low.  I tried putting them in mode B, but the stats are showing A576 for each.  This is my bat file:

teamredminer.exe -a kawpow -o stratum+tcp://us-solo-rvn.2miners.com:7070 -u RBtMNRyq2QxJxF***fuLJ1WENbdjWzw.cryptodyne -p x --cn_config 9+9 --prog_config=B576 --enable_compute

Am i missing something or doing something stupid?
thanks

I am trying to mine Haven on one of my miners however when I try to load more than one GPU I get the errors unable to initialize GPU XX.  This does not happen on the other miner. Both windows 10. Sometimes it will initialize 2 but no more. Any idea why?

I switched to Linux and it works fine.  SRBMiner works fine as well. I have large page file.  Any ideas why I would not be able to initialize more than 2 cards?

Thanks

i tried it but my hash went down to 26mh/s, ref above 20 doesn't make any change and 2200mhz gets 28mh/s as long as the ref is 20, i'm using the latest amd driver 21.2.3 could that be the cause of low hash?

Hi, did you flash a mod bios already? Or is it still an original bios?

hi, yes it's the original bios, this card is used for gaming that's why i don't want to flash the bios, is flashing the bios a must to get 30mh/s?

i am using rx 580 samsung mem, my ref is 20 in amd memory tweaker and mem freq 2200mhz but i only get 28 mh/s, in the gpu pcie section in trm it shows 1:00.0 but in gpu-z it's pcie 2 is this normal?

Samsung memory usually can only be 2000mhz max, sometime can be 2050mhz. More than that, you will find a lot of error using hwinfo.
Try this, set core clock to 1150, mem 2000, ref 30. And you will get 30+ mhs.

if you use a memory frequency of 2200 MHz, then the core must be set to about 1200 MHz to get the maximum speed from the overclocked memory
Perhaps this version of TRM is not adapted for the latest AMD drivers, you better go back to the version, for example 20.5.1 I use it myself and everything is ok

i'll try 20.5.1 now, thanks
