i am using rx 580 samsung mem, my ref is 20 in amd memory tweaker and mem freq 2200mhz but i only get 28 mh/s, in the gpu pcie section in trm it shows 1:00.0 but in gpu-z it's pcie 2 is this normal?

Samsung memory usually can only be 2000mhz max, sometime can be 2050mhz. More than that, you will find a lot of error using hwinfo.
Try this, set core clock to 1150, mem 2000, ref 30. And you will get 30+ mhs.

i tried it but my hash went down to 26mh/s, ref above 20 doesn't make any change and 2200mhz gets 28mh/s as long as the ref is 20, i'm using the latest amd driver 21.2.3 could that be the cause of low hash?
if you use a memory frequency of 2200 MHz, then the core must be set to about 1200 MHz to get the maximum speed from the overclocked memory
Perhaps this version of TRM is not adapted for the latest AMD drivers, you better go back to the version, for example 20.5.1 I use it myself and everything is ok

I am trying to mine Haven on one of my miners however when I try to load more than one GPU I get the errors unable to initialize GPU XX.  This does not happen on the other miner. Both windows 10. Sometimes it will initialize 2 but no more. Any idea why?

where TRM is mining his CN Haven Fee ?
I am mining at Herominers and sometimes it appear "Devfee pool can't connect", then Reduced speed till  then DEV fee connected  after a while .
But in half an hour, the problem starts again
I have no problem changing pool

Hmm.. Ok..  So here's what I'm looking at..  Do you think I can just reset the bios to the factory settings?  Since I bought it used, not sure what may have already been done..  I'm using OverdriveNTool to for my settings...  Here's a pic of what I'm getting currently..

You need to drop core voltage and core clocks considerably. You're just wasting power at he moment. Dial down to 1250-1275 on core with voltage of 725-750mV.

Nvidia just announced that they will add SAM (smart access memory) to new drivers soon. This should work with all CPU´s.....not like the feature works with AMD, where only the 5000 series CPU is supported. So if you can use SAM with all CPU´s, will you take advantage of this new feature and allow 2 mining instances? this could double the hashrate at the 10gb cards like the 3080. or do you concentrate on AMD support? and did you already use SAM for AMD with 5000 series CPU´s?

Sorry, one more question.

I've got a new mining rig I'm setting up.. I have a Thermaltake 1000 and Thermaltake 750 psu. I have a power "splitter" connected with the 1000 being the primary that powers the motherboard. Second psu seems to power up fine. For some reason, any card connected to the secondary PSU powers up (RGB lights come on), but no initial fan spin at all like the other cards. Never recognized in OS. If I just change the power to come from the primary PSU, fan spins and card comes up fine. I've tried with 2 different 750s as secondary and both do the same thing. Any thoughts on what I'm doing wrong??

Using TRM 0.8.1 to mine Raven on Kawpow.  Got a Powercolor 470 4gb with following settings.  Core 1100/850 and memory 2000/850.  the max I can get is 7.5mhs...  regardless of moving core up to 1150, 1175, 1200, and increasing voltage 900mhz, 950, 1000 ect.  Actually when I increase the core voltage to 950 and 1000 it actually starts to drop hashrate.  I have --enable_compute in bat.  Looking for any advise to increase to 10-11mhs.

Note:  when using the --prog_height=937863 simulation mode with the above setting 1100/850 2000/850 the gpu obtains 11.4mhs.

Not sure what im doing wrong but if in simulation mode it achieves 11mhs but can only achieve 7.5mhs when actually mining.

Thanks for any assistance.

you have very strange soc values for all cards, possibly due to the high core frequency, but these are my guesses. for such a memory speed, the core frequency can be significantly reduced. For example, for a memory frequency of 1824 MHz, the core is enough about ~ 1310 MHz. accordingly, the higher the memory, the higher the core and vice versa, as well as all this, there are also optimized timings that can be flashed

those are invalid shares, lower the mem oc on that gpu

That did it!  Thanks for the info, as I wasn't sure what the 'hw' meant.  Take care!

i have a card, GPU6, that seems to have a lot of hw numbers, like after rig is running for a few hours the hw will be around 143, and the pool acceptance rate will be low.  Does anyone have this issue?  Any suggestions??

Quick question.  Just picked up a used Sapphire Pulse RX 5700 XT card.  It's seems to be running considerably hotter then all my other 5700XT cards.  Fan seems to run at about 90% with MemTemp at 82.  Other cards are running 30-50% at 80.  Only thing that looks different on this card is the SocMHZ is at 1227 and the others are 1000 or less..

Any thoughts/help would be greatly appreciated..
Usually on Pulses, if the memory frequency is below 1824 MHz, then the SOC frequency is 950mV, if the memory frequency is above 1824 MHz, then the SOC frequency is 1085 MHz, in order for the SOC frequency to become even higher, the memory frequency on this card must be significantly higher than these values. in general, the maximum frequency of SOC 1267 Mhz is registered in the BIOS, look at what frequency the memory works, if it is below or near these values, then there is clearly a problem with the card with the choice of the desired voltage, it is possible that this is an unsuccessful instance of a video card
