I'm in HiveOS and my settings are :

SAMSUNG MEM CHIPS
 --ras 26 --rcdrd 13 --rcdwr 12 --rc 38 --rp 12 --rrds 3 --rrdl 5 --rtp 6 --faw 12 -- cwl 8 --wtrs 4 --wtrl 9 --wr 13 --ref 24000 --rfc 239

HYNIX MEM CHIPS
--cl 18 --ras 23 --rcdrd 13 --rcdwr 11 --rc 34 --rp 13 --rrds 3 --rrdl 4 --rtp 6 --faw 12 --cwl 7 --wtrs 4 --wtrl 4 --wr 11  --rfc 164 --REF 17000

Hey what kind of black magic is it? Smiley I want to know how to use it, I'm only using oc in hiveon that is available, standard clocks with bios moded cards.

and how much are taking case fans? Smiley

Basically, modded BIOS will just hard code the memory timing, frequency and voltage to apply.
But you also can apply them on the fly with OC and amdmemtweak.
So my Vega are stock BIOS in case of resale, it's fine.

The easiest way on HiveOS to pass a command is on your worker in the top menu, use the "Run Command" (on the left of the Rocket Ship)
Then ... type your command

But because it's on the fly ... in case of reboot, you have to execute the command again.
So to be sure that the command is passed when I start the miner, I just customize /hive/bin/miner script to add my amdmemtweak before it start.
It's works great

Beware! Scam and virus^

this is my project and i have source code. You can also check files on virusstotal

THE ORIGINAL POST HAS BEEN DELETED--

And there have been constant scam posts offering fake, "improved" software that contains malware.  Some of the packages have been offered on GitHub.  Don't trust a "last post" from an unfamiliar user.       --scryptr

Looks like 0.8.1 was released on the github 3 days ago, anyone play around with it yet?
How did it go?

0.8.1 release was for basic support for rx 6000 cards. I have a 6900xt that's run on the new release quite stably for the last several days, just under 64 MH/s for 130W.

Can someone confirm Hashrate of Rx 5700XTs? 68 mh/s??
I got around 67-69 mh/s, I'll put it to work for a day

With this miner? Are you mining on Win10 or Linux? Are you willing to mod a bios for me?

i got it.

the vega runs with 54 mh/s at 1100 on core and 1028 on mem with 850 mv on both.
tweak timings cl 20 ras 26 rcdrc 12 rcdwr 12 rc 38 rp 12 rrds 3 rrdl 5 rtp 6 faw 12 cwl 8 wtrs 4 wtrl 9 wr 13 ref 15600 rfc 239

is there better settings with the new trm v8.0?
i run it on windows, with 4 vega 56 power coler at 48 mh and 1 vega 56 phantom on 51mhs (morpheus cooler) mem temp set on 62
i've i try to overclock in hive i got many errors with powerplay table.
What do i wrong?
Is there an hashrate increase of switching to hive? when it runs?

thx

50+ MH/s is already good for Vega 56
I'm in HiveOS and my settings are :

SAMSUNG MEM CHIPS
 --ras 26 --rcdrd 13 --rcdwr 12 --rc 38 --rp 12 --rrds 3 --rrdl 5 --rtp 6 --faw 12 -- cwl 8 --wtrs 4 --wtrl 9 --wr 13 --ref 24000 --rfc 239

HYNIX MEM CHIPS
--cl 18 --ras 23 --rcdrd 13 --rcdwr 11 --rc 34 --rp 13 --rrds 3 --rrdl 4 --rtp 6 --faw 12 --cwl 7 --wtrs 4 --wtrl 4 --wr 11  --rfc 164 --REF 17000

Then I find the lowest power consumption settings to stay in the 50.xx range per card (If I don't mind the power, I can run stable 51-52.xx per card)

This way I can hash with the whole rig at 352 MH/s for 1145W at wall (with Platinium PSU and H110 MB + 4Go DDR4 + G4400 + SSD + 8 case fans)
https://imgur.com/a/ik95H8I

And for your information TRM 0.7.2 is more stable with aggresive OC and timing than TRM 0.8.0 but it consume more power.
After some tweaking to find the good clock and voltage per card, I'm really happy with TRM 0.8.0

Huh? That sounds horrible. Wasting electricity to do nothing? Mining in the long term does cause degradation, and this has been known since like 2011.

Maybe you should read it carefully. Its to protect the hardware just in case. This is one of the greatest feature of that miner. A few dollars can save thousands...

And how will a loose of internet connection damage your hardware? In my case, my cards are in extra bulding and in winter i have some windows open and many of my cards run with 10 or 20C° and they are running fine. It is better that the cards don´t work if they have no connection. So can you explain how that will protect your hardware?
Colder is always better for gpu´s!!!!!!!

Iam not talking about running cards, thats a huge difference (and no, its not better). Cards without any workload and below ambient temperature (for whatever reason this happened) will create condensation. Condensation and cold environment is a really bad thing which can kill hardware easily if the load wont return fast enough to heat up the cards. Condensation on watercooled parts will kill the hardware in minutes. If you dont need such option, dont use it, easy and simple. But I bet there are many people outthere which appreciate such an option.
