I've setup a block explorer for TRC, based on the Abe, very simple one.

Another thanks, Hanzac!

On a totally different topic I haven't heard back from Vircurex, so we need to email them a bunch to tell them to update their wallet.  Email [email protected] otherwise people who are trading unaware on Vircurex will lose their coins when they attempt to send between Cryptopia and Vircurex.

Thanks!

thanks for this info mate i dont have idea about this maybe that's the reason why the price are different between the two.

vircurex does not update their wallets anymore... If a wallet needs an update, they just delist the coin. This has happened a few times now, last one was ANC

I am ok with Vircurex delisting TRC.  Cryptopia has been working great right now, and there are tons of other exchanges we can get added to.

The foundation is more about creating a viable alternative to fiat currency..
Good to see this coin getting some overdue attention & hopefully some updates..

I'm running a p2pool node for helping the share chain alive. I think if the node is active, it will automatically become a seed for the others.

Thanks Hanzac.  I will add it to the list for when I update the p2pool code.  His the first p2pool seed I have gotten.  I need at least three!  Anyone else have any?

This is my p2pool:

Updated my windows wallet, pool wallet and Altcoinwarz.com - so far so good, I'm still mining right now.
sent test coins from my old pool wallet to my new windows wallet, then to Cryptopia - you can buy them for 425 sat   Grin

Guess I'll see what happens after the hard fork.

note: "WARNING: abnormally high number of blocks generated, 168 blocks received in the last 4 hours (120 expected)"

Sweet.  Thanks!

That warning is caused by someone with a high hashrate mining TRC till the difficulty goes up then they switch to a different coin for 540 blocks then switch back.  Dark Gravity Wave will take care of that issue when the hard fork happens.

Terracoin has always been one of my favorites, and with the bitcoin halving, Terracoin is a better choice to point my miners - sometimes more profitable than bitcoin!
wow good choice mate it seems that terra will continue doing this without a notice, keep buying little by little while price still cheap.
keep it up mate lets earn with our support project. good luck

Updated my wallets & can report that both doze & linux wallets are running fine. Looking forward to the hard fork & merged mining capabilities.

Great work clockuniverse & many thanks to mrbodz for his excellent work  Smiley

Terracoin is back!

No problem!!

I actually deleted everything except for my wallet and the block chain just to see what would happen and overnight I already have 14 peers.  Two of them are on the new wallet so we are making progress!

Cryptopia has finished updating their wallet!

Once the hard fork happens you won't be able to send or receive coins from Cryptopia unless you update your wallet.

Remember this is a mandatory update, so let's get the word out about updating the wallet, otherwise there are going to be a lot of people left in the dust while we move forward.

Thanks!

We need to get the word out to everyone about the new mandatory wallet update!

Here is a list of sites I have contacted.  There are so many other sites that I can't contact them all!  Help me out.

Yesterday

Vircurex - Haven't heard back (I doubt I ever will, so I recommend removing all TRC from there)
Cryptopia - Looks like the wallet is currently being updated

Just now

coinmarketcap.com
coingecko.com
bchain.info
multipool.us
coinwarz.com

You can also help out by retweeting our tweets (I never thought I would type that sentence): https://twitter.com/Terracoin_TRC
Or upvoting on reddit, https://www.reddit.com/r/Terracoin/

Thanks, everyone!!

the new wallet has the needed seed's already inside. the p2pool is just a p2pool node.

Ahmed

P2pool uses it's own seperate sharechain for each coin (as well as the coin blockchain) which also requires seed nodes. The problem is, when 2 or more users create their own sharechain to run p2pool, once they connect with each other it creates conflicts.

Info: The current TRC blockchain seed nodes in the official P2pool repo are:

https://github.com/p2pool/p2pool/blob/master/p2pool/networks/terracoin.py#L16

That file is really outdated.  Thanks for pointing that out!  I think I can figure out how to fix it, but I will need people to list their p2pool seed nodes so I can add it to the code.  I also will update the version warning so that people know they are out of date with the wallet.

I want to set up some TRC Foundation seed nodes for both eventually.

As for the 64bit wallet, it may take a while for it to come out because our wallet dude is having some medical issues.

You can use the 32bit for now, and when we release the 64bit you should be able to just copy over the 32bit exe and everything will work fine.
