We are mining on https://vivocryptopool.com/site/mining
If you would like to help, please join. For example, order sha256 hash from nicehash.com.

Setup the pool in the nicehash's pools setting page, then go to order. It's simple but costly. Wink

Guys, no need to spend much money for helping. Think about just donating a little hash power (for example 0.05 BTC which can run 167 GHs for 1 day! Which will also help.)

Does it make sense to rent some hash power for example?

It looks like there is an equal amount of votes for adding anonymous transactions, the other half of the votes don't seem to care if those features get added or not, bit of a debacle hey Tongue

my new wallet stuck on block ....7499 and 3 hours no new block Huh??  Huh
Terracoin Hard Fork Update - Dragon

The community drowned the whale and now we need to burn the dragon.

The hard fork is stalled at block 1,087,499 because we don't have enough hash to solve the next block.

Terracoin's block hash has been through the roof lately (top 3 for all SHA256 coins in existance), and since we have Dark Gravity Wave difficulty that means it only drops or raises every block.  The people who have been pushing the block hash through the roof did not update their wallet, so we are stuck trying to solve a block without enough hash.

We need to solve this next block, and we need the community help to burn this dragon down.  We need around 18 PH hash for around 12 hours (24 would be better), then the difficulty will drop.

Turn your ASIC miners, or Nicehash miners to: http://ispace.co.uk/coindetails/?coin=trc&id=19, https://vivocryptopool.com/site/mining or to https://www.Mining-Dutch.nl

Also put the word out that whoever is mining on the wrong blockchain that they need to update their wallet.

Every time we implement new inprovements we are going to have challenges like these.

We just need to get teeth in this dragon, and burn him through.

The difficulty is too high for our miners to solve the block.  We are throwing hash at it right now.  (Just waiting for bitcoin confirms so we can turn Nicehash onit)  If anyone knows who is mining the old chain tell them that they are mining worthless TRC.
stratum+tcp://mergemining.com:9332  Throw a bit of hash at this just for a couple hours.

Hi
I wanted to set up my masternode but I have 2 problems...
1 - Cryptopia is in maintenance
2 - I don t trust set up windows guide (despite it is great) as it is on google drive, author can edit and maybe my coin will go somewhere... as I don t understand command I must input... in crypto i trust no one.
Maybe clockuniverse can put the guide on terracoin.info ?
Thank you for your help!

We plan to put the guide on the website, but we haven't set up the resource tab yet.  I figured the best option would be google drive so that is where I stuck it for now.

Cryptopia put the wallet in maintenance in preparation for the hard fork.

Perhaps it would be interesting to make a simplified guide to MN, I mean like an ELI5, starting from zero and not assuming that people have some knowledge. It could be bring more people to the game.

We have three guides available.

Lama Lamic's Guide: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B6wHcTCr1qh3c2hUR1BQbkh0M2s

U3mur4's Guide: https://github.com/u3mur4/terracoin

I also created a guide that is mostly finished: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B6wHcTCr1qh3S09rMUI5dmhoNnc

They are all pretty much from scratch.  Tell me what you think about them!  Thanks!

Also people are welcome to post any questions they have on any of the forums (Slack, Telegram, Discord, Reddit, here) and we will all help.  Helping new people get masternodes and understand them is one of my main goals!

EDIT: I added the last paragraph.

I had read your guide a few days ago. Now it seems a lot friendlier than it was initially! Thank you for all your hard work!

Yeah, I put some more work into it.  The original one was only like 1/3 done.

4.3 hours till the hard fork everyone!!

Where can you trade TRC? It was strong in 2013, but now no exchanges, what a tragedy.

We are on 6 exchanges.

EDIT: For a second, I just wanted to dismiss your ridiculous comment, and move on because I have better things to do with the hard fork coming up in about 17 hours.

But then I decided that it would probably be better to truly address your comment.

Terracoin (TRC) is listed on 6 exchanges, all of which can be found on the OP here: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.13877429

The OP is updated regularly thanks to Hippocrypto, one of our many volunteers.

Some of these exchanges do have Terracoin in maintenance in preparation for the hard fork.

I post a weekly update every Thursday, which you can find on here, Slack, Telegram, Bitcoingarden, Reddit, Cryptocompare, and Twitter.  (You can find links to those in the weekly update posted a few messages back from here)

We also have an updated website at terracoin.io, and you can also subscribe to a newsletter on terracoin.io if you rather just get the weekly updates sent to your inbox.

If you think that Terracoin was doing great in 2013 then you haven't looked at https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/terracoin/#charts in a while since we are about to break the all time high for TRC's marketcap.

Welcome back to Terracoin and feel free to put in proposals for decentralized governance after the hard fork!  Thanks!

A VPS/client setup does not put your coins at risk, as they are never on the masternode
Of course, coins are safe...if you follow the guide. I'm pretty sure that someone not tecnically prepared will keep wallet on the masternode server...
So seeing that someone don't even know what file to download, alerts me.

They put the wallet into maintenance which means they are in the process of upgrading it to the new wallet so your coins should be fine. My new theory is that a couple of the exchanges don't know that new wallet works both before and after the fork so they are just being extra careful by putting the wallet into maintenance until the hard fork.  That is about 18 hours away.

I still check on all of the exchanges every day and from what I have heard they are all going to do it.

Thank you!!

No problem.  Many people have this question so thanks for asking!

about 22 hours left until fork!

And what would happen after fork? Price Increase ?

Can I still keep my coin in coin exchange?
