Gentlemen, lets not get carried away.

more than 2 days passed, 3angle didnt bother to answer to my PMs despite being active and posting in other threads.
he didnt do shit for ~10 days now, he didnt even add the wallet DL links to the OP although I asked twice for it.

so we can probably assume 3angle is done with TRI.

the question is: is it worth the effort to take the development over?

currently the coin is a forky mess with a buggy wallet (sync-bug).

basically these things would have to be done:

* contact bittrex, tell them about "the plan". make sure they are on the same fork as most users (10333 blocks). the "right" chain is the chain where bittrex is.
* fix sources:
   - add checkpoints to  ensure future wallets users are synced to the right chain (no real effort, tbd in minutes)
   - address the wallet "sync-bug" which prevents the wallet from syncing from block 0 to current block in one attempt (currently several wallet restarts are required)
   - maybe hardcode some nodes if available
* create new github, upload new sources
* compile win and mac wallets (i could do the WIN wallet, would need someone to compile the MAC wallet)
* create new ann/takeover thread, release wallets

.....

am i missing something?

It wouldn't take much effort for the bare minimum required to get wallets staking again. Maybe that's a good start. Is anyone able to stake at the moment? My coin are on trex, I've been waiting for a wallet update.

Unfortunately, I don't think that's going to work at this point.  We need a dev to relaunch the coin with an extra 1,000 - 5,000 POW blocks.

You are funny - want more PoW-blocks, for what? - inflating coin-cap?

I think the coin is fine as it is, don´t speculate in any re-launch of any kind.

Who wouldn't be interested in saving a coin they spend time mining?    Do miners and workers come home and throw the minerals they found away or flush their money down the toilet due to lack of interest?

I'm amazed at what I am reading here and the number of coins which are dying due to 'lack of interest' is disturbing.

I find your lack of faith to be a disturbance in the force.

lol

You just have another point of view. It's your fault if you were mining minerals which are nothing worth, I sold them as long as they were something worth and I am happy that I did not loose more. Blaming another people for not supporting dead coin is wrong, get out as long as you can and hang on a real coin with future and pool yout energy into this.

Or build a community and turn it around. Some people like to move to big cities, other people want to build them. The reward is greater in the latter.

set the price as high as you like, doesn't mean anyone will buy it, as they are not buying it now at 3k. .
However i will keep holding my bag like a boss hehe. .

once PoW is over, and you all have dumped everything, when the marked is dead, and all hope seems lost.

Someone will buy every single coin from every one of you and set the price at the top of the pyramid.

You know why.

the bug-fixing wouldnt have been a problem. anyways, the question is or was whether this coin is worth the effort.

i finally decided that this is not the case. lack of interest from all sides..... sorry, i'm out.

I bought some TRI during that 'dump' earlier today, a couple hundred anyway. I'll send some back at croTek4...

Hah that dump was definitely my stolen angles. All 2200 of em. luckily those were my only coins on bittrex.

I can't believe you guys still trust this coin Smiley. I quit at 20K making small loss.

There is no real dev behind this coin and there is probably nobody here with knowledge to edit the code or to remove the bug. Better go to casino and play red or black. This coin is dead! Everyone who thinks different or wants to save this coin, hire good dev. There is nothing special on this coin, except a nice bug. There is no concept and some got already rubbed. Good luck

the Cat-a-clysm.
this is all still a mess. the you-have-to-restart-to-sync-bug is more than annoying.  i wrote a pm to 3angle and asked him if he's still in this or not.

let's see if and what he answers...

Have you heard back from dev yet? Most of our wallets are synced, but there are obviously other problems.

not yet, 12 h since i wrote him  a pm.

did u actually run that supposed-to-be wallet the unknown person posted above?

I did, tried to run it and everything stopped responding. i wouldnt recommend touching it.

edit... yep, so i've been hacked. guess i should have known better than to try and run that program. they sold all my triangles and then withdrew the btc.
