Its because no one was staking and he alone got many blocks.. Just check network stake weight, if it grows then staking will be more competitive. Even until now network stake weight is low, it should be in thousandssss but seems people are waiting for a price spike like in CRAVE and sell their coin rather than want to stake and hold Grin

depend of network weight. the more coins staking the more weight the less coin you mine; so I can't give you a number; but you should start staking nicely in a few moments now; and payouts will change; like the weight doubled since yesterday so you hit twice less blocks compared to yesterday; as blocks are capped atm
