Oups, they put i behind paywall. Just wanted to share that IOS runs just on a minority of 15 to 16 percent of mobiles.

Sad news, there was no mention of new NFC functionalities in iOS 12 at the keynote.

Second thought: "ubi block" may be more adaptive than "ubi day"?

My thougths today:
 - The development of a thin/lightweight client should be considered
 - There could be a new unit called UBI day. This unit would be the amount of UBI a recipient received during the last 24 hours.
I think that this unit makes it much easier to represent value. You would have prices like coffee: 1 UBI day, piece of cake: 2 UBI days... and so on.

Your idea could indeed circumvent some missunderstandings and would make it easier to set transparent prices with ubic?

I am so curious if people will accept (and comprehend) the relative value relations of unit count to participant count.

if anyone speaks Russian the video is about UBI being a possible solution for a very poor country like Ukraine,
From about 15.21  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ThzfzPpTSbg
Thank you for sharing.
Ukrainian passports can also be used with UBIC.

@ubicorn will there be a testnet, and if yes when?

There will be one once the main net gains attention and growth beyond a certain point. Currently the main net is pretty much a test net.

Apparently with iOS 12 the iPhone's NFC capabilities will not be limited to NDEF Tags anymore. This is a very good news and if it is true it means that iPhones will become able to read the passport NFC chip.

@ubicorn I found on twitter that there is a journalist working on a story about blockchain and UBI. Perhaps you want to write him?

I am actively working on the mobile app and I am currently working on the private key export part. I think that there should be some way to import and export it using Mnemonic words like with bip 39.

Here is a potential word list: https://gist.github.com/fogleman/c4a1f69f34c7e8a00da8

You guys rock! @uboid: a reference on ubic.network to https://github.com/UBIC-repo might make sense?
I'll add an about page or something like that later.
I have created a git repository for the mobile app it is here: https://github.com/rgex/UBIC-android-wallet

I created a Twitter account where I will try to post at least once per day.
https://twitter.com/NetworkUbic
It will focus on the block explorer I've created and the current progress I am doing on the development of the mobile app.

This looks very good. The transaction fees as displayed also seem correct to me.
