What's the word on CC orders?  I sent an e-mail through the "contact us" page interface.  Is that the way to do it?

I'm reasonably sure the RPi is powered off the header on the M-card.
Correct. The M-board has a regulator that provides power to the RPi connector.

How are people planning to power their rPI?  is there an easy way to use the ATX PSU or are people going to run off a wall wart?

I'm reasonably sure the RPi is powered off the header on the M-card.

Oh hmm my UPS has a USB out port!  great, i can connect rpi to that!

nice and what kind UPS you got  and I am looking to get one UPS.

I picked up the CyberPower 1350AVR from CostCo (CostCo model number is CST1300AL.  Differs from retail model... but is identical and $50 cheaper).  The CostCo model was about $90

If one H-card dies in the M-card chain (v1), the whole (400GH) miner is out, no?
No, just remove the bad h-card, and reorder the cards so that the unused sockets are all at the end. Likewise, a single partially broken h-card can be moved to the end of the chain.

Right.  It would be out for me (at least for half a day), my rigs are hosted.
I'd have to physically go there to power down and move the cards around.

Any solution that can connect an H-card to a PC would be more flexible. IMHO.

Raspberry Pi is pretty solid and stable, although it can certainly trash it's SD card if you have a power event.  It's simple enough to keep a backup image around for if/when this happens.

Don't forget, he is left coast so it is still early there.

Oh, really? Do you know if he's in Northern California. I might as well stop by and help him with packaging or other office jobs etc....

Megabigpower is located in WA, according to the "Contact Us" page.

Hey Dave,

I know you are busy and I hate to bother you. I'm just dying to know if the M-boards made it there today. Thanks.

I Am hoping he doesn't answer, thinking he is busy testing and shipping to check the forums  ;-)

Yes. Crossing my fingers that the box arrived this morning and at least some kits would be shipped late in the afternoon. That'd be the only chance left to start mining before the long weekend ends. Otherwise, I'm taking off in the evening to forget this and go out for a little camping.
