However, I could need some help from community members with finding and interpreting the updates on github. Please contact me if you want to help me with this. I (being a simple java coder for scientific tasks), find it rather difficult to tell a story from looking at the daily updates on github.

I second this - I have tried to read github and its all 0' and 1's to me. Only thing I really do get from github is development is happening and btcdrak is committing builds...

I have no idea what is going on behind the scenes, BUT -

a) i find BTCdrak's relative silence about what is cooking very encouraging bcs i translate it as 'i'm working on big things [not some small decorations] that i can't share with you guys'.

b) if "a" is TRUE, then i further encourage BTCdrak not to release anything until early January bcs i fear it is holiday season and will not get the right attention and coverage.

c) I am known to be over optimistic about everything, but hey, life looks much prettier this way

I know what you mean but it doesn't work like that. It's been obvious for months now that news isnt going to be coming to Viacoin like how many alt traders are used to pump their coins. I mean, theres a coin out there getting a ton of updates almost daily and its value is still crap. Even viacoin got some minor updates here and there, I think the price would barely move.

Been away from the viacoin scene for a while, but this stagnant time looks like it may be a good reentry soon.
