I finally succeed to setup my masternode with the help of the community in discord and I invite everyone to go there FIRST before setting your masternode. Vivo is a tricky beast Grin but once it is setup is running smooth.

and maybe there is another fork. Altminer is doing at block 78928 and bulwarkpool is doing at 78901 with diff around 41.
How is it possible that so small pool can fork from the main chain with so weak hashpower? Is this coin really secure?

i've followed the instructions to set up a master node here:
https://www.vivocrypto.com/vivo-technologies/masternodes/linux-guide/

is there a way to have multiple master nodes on one machine / in one wallet? if so, can someone tell me where i can find some information on that?

thanks

Hi all,

On my way to a Masternode since at current prices it'll be less than 6k to start one; however, is there any updates regarding the fork???

Hello

I would like to start SOLO mining VIVO using windows 10 and CCminer - I've tried to find some guide on "how to" but with no luck, can anyone help me with that?

config file
{
   "_comment1" : "Possible keys are the long options (ccminer --help)",
   "_comment2" : "todo: support /* comments */",

   "api-bind": "127.0.0.1:4068",
   "statsavg": 20,

   "quiet" : false,
   "debug" : false,
   "protocol" : false,
   "cpu-priority" : 3,

   "algo" : "cryptonight",

   "launch-config" : "32x16",

   "url" : "stratum+tcp://xmr.suprnova.cc:5222",
   "user" : "tpruvot.donate",
   "pass" : "x"
}

bat file
ccminer-x64 -a neoscrypt -o stratum+tcp://pool.unimining.net:4233 -u vivowalletadress -p c=VIVO --cpu-priority=3

Achillis thanx for the answer, I'll try it today when ill get to my rigs - one question ...
why does config file have algo "crypto night" when its neoscrypt? and the url is "stratum+tcp://xmr.suprnova.cc:5222"? is it suppose to be like this?

other question is do i have to have vivo wallet installed on my rig? on other SOLO MINING threads (for other coins) instructions say that i have to instal coin wallet on rig.

Thanx in advance! Smiley

The algo and pool are described in the bat file so don't worry it works with me Wink just see that ure cc miner is the right one CCminer-x64 and that it is in the same map as ure config and bat file. U can try and change the config if u like don't think anything will change. Wallet dus not need to be on ure rig. But no adresses of sites like cryptopia.

verre stupid of me didn't see that u wanted to solo mine. LOL Gonna leave it on here for starters.
But don't think u need my help. Wink just know u definitely need a synchronized wallet on ure rig and i use sk miner but don't know the files for vivo.

happy mining

also coinsmarkets.com answered a ticket of mine that there is an issue with blockchain and that is why they can not operate any exchanges with vivo.

Any news on this?

Hey, new to mining, and was hoping to get clarification on something.   Been happily mining on altminer.net, and on occasion I receive duplicate or triplicate payouts to my wallet.   On the altminer's site under payout history, there will be two payouts with identical times listed.   One will have a certain payout amount, and the other is just listed as 0.0000.  This just happened, and my wallet received three separate payments of .078...

What's that all about?

Thanks in advance

AltMiner.Net | Low-Fee Pool | 2hr Payout
ok maybe yes, but why when mining on altminer or unimining or some other bigger pools there are a lot of connection problems and mining on small pools where are only several miners there is no problem? I do not think there is a problem with VIVO network. Maybe it is a problem with the overloading of big pools, its connection capacity, maybe used code Yii has something to do with it - it is not able to handle this kind of load (1000s of users doing on the same port). I really do not know, the only I know is that, small pools have not this kind of problems these days.

tried doing PXC, FTC, TZC VIVO on altminer and everyone has connection problems. And not only me. You can find it here in the forum, there are users with these problems and nobody from pool operators has not answered anything yet.

altminer has added additional servers lately because of bunch of miners greater than 2000 per port. Don't forget that bad guys attack big pools using ddos and other methods

Use dedicated port 10001

Devs, seriously!

dont fuck around with the github master, use another branch, so that master is compilable - right now, i have previous code, which doesnt work on vivo network, and current code does not compile

and customers that cannot run their ordered masternodes

please fix it

Node-vps

Some support for windows masternodes would be good. Without all the #Linuxisthegreatest crap.  Roll Eyes

i think it was some guy in innova that made a windows version of sentinel

Indeed i use it. Just make a shortcut method and it works great.

You can also find Windows sentinel in Desire ANN thread.
It should work for any coin. Try it.
