Ferx2005........seems to be an error in the link to the Windows wallet.  Even if I strip the bad characters off the URL, I am still not getting to the wallet.  Also, it appears only wallet on main website is for WacCoin Silver, can't find wallet right now for WacCoinGold Windows..........unless I am overlooking something.
It doesnt work well yet the link, for now the only way is downloading it FROM: https://github.com/waccoin/waccoin-gold/archive/master.zip and delete the old %appdata%/waccoingold/(everything exept wallet.dat) fies, just be careful not to delete wallet.dat, delete everything else but this file

Cool, got it man thank you!

Hey IMJim, what are you running at 50Mh/s?  or did you rent a rig for the launch?  I got refunded my solo mining coins, but didn't do a screen shot of my pool coins, so I have no record and I feel they are gone.  I'm waiting for a few more blades to show up, I like that I can move them around to different laptops and mine different coins!!  We'll see what shakes out here, it's a tough coin to mine.

I have a 160 of the 5 chip GridSeeds.  I run 100 of them from my home office and the other 60 from my mom's house, we both have solar so I spread them out to save on electrical.

I used them on the pool the day of launch, if you mined your lost ones on the pool........the data for that should still be on the pool if you go to the blockfinders section, that is how I know how many I had mined.  I lost mine because the original wallet was corrupted and I had not backed up the wallet.dat file in time before the pool dispensed my coins to it, largely my fault on that one but it hurt nonetheless:-)

I am contemplating throwing 2 of my 290x cards at this for a day or so to see what I can get.  I too am struggling though whether it is wise to mine a coin that is so difficult as my returns are crucial to me right now trying to pay off my miners!

That is a shitload of those little bugges!!!  I have 11 blades and 1 GPU miner left.  I'll have to go and look.

Yeah, was quite the job building these 2 rigs.  The wiring seemed endless:-)  Builds came out REALLY cool, made custom built racks from PVC.  Looking at other GridSeed setups makes me laugh, crazy mess!  My biggest system that runs 100 of these is all nice and neat, taking up very little space......really clean setup considering the natural mess these systems create:-)

Martin and the rest of the WAGC crew.

It may sound like we're whiny little bitching machines sometimes.  But, we raise the questions to try and help better the coin!!  Mining costs us money (for equipment, electric and time).  ROI is important, if we can't make money mining we move on.

Right now this coin is suffering from a lack of miners, why?  Because the rewards to BTC suck!  When it takes 2-4 days to make 1 coin (or $10), there are better coins out there!!

Also you need a way for us to spend coin!!

I wanted to quote this post as it resonated with my feelings around this coin!

This pretty much sums up my feelings and reasoning for my own posts the past few days, better put than myself though:-)

This difficulty I think has had many frustrated but I think even more curious in wanting to understand.  I certainly have not spent my time in this thread wanting to bash or create fud, not my style by a long shot!

WACCEO.........you sent me an apology in PM and now I see you have done the same here out in the open.  I thank you for both, was quite surprised to open my Email this morning and see the nice message you sent me.  As I did in my response to you, I will do here as well and extend my apologies as well to ferx and the WacCoin team.  I was really frustrated with this from the start and I let that come out in my words and actions the past couple days.

This frustration started for me after losing 36 coins I had mined when this first launched, then realizing I had no chance of mining them again with the difficulty.  I pretty much lost an entire day of mining with over 50 mh/s.  I am in terrible debt trying to pay off my first investment in mining equipment so needless to say am VERY cautious where I point my resources:-)

Again, thank you for your kind message and I hope ferx too will openly except my apology for our mutual frustrations yesterday!

Any idea what is up with the DIFF?
{
"blocks" : 3548,

"difficulty" : 1.39608453,

"networkhashps" : 6846732,

For that hashrate that DIFF is nuts!!

The idea is to have hig diff because it will give you much more coins if you get a block, if the diff is 0.01 you get 0.000169859 reward
 and if the diff is 1.39 you get 0.013383256 reward, it is better for you to produce when diff is high, remember that this coin is diferent to all the known coins, but in this way the coin will always be stable, it doesnt matter how high/low is the diff, this is made to prevent pumps and dumps from big mining farms and destroy the coin value

madmartyk, no it doesn't sound like it to me at all. I think oftentimes people do read these messages as take them personally and get upset but that's an experience, maturity and training issue and I can help with two out of those three one is a time issue.

I see it that you're helping us to make the going better by sharing your experiences both good and bad, without you we wouldn't be aware of issues and wouldn't be able to improve our product or service by fixing them.

I thank you for your time, messages and support.

Martin
