Be careful of hard forks guys.. when Blackcoin did this, people lost millions of coins... and partly caused cryptorush to go into insolvency.

I'd hold coins in personal wallets if at all possible (though even that might be too late if you had them on exchanges to begin with).

It feels like a very dangerous proposal to buy in at this time until blockchain and clients stabilize, but .. good luck to all!

Part of the reason this is taking so long is to sustain a transaction free block chain, that way if anything goes wrong they can roll back the chain to a safe date.  This is also why the exchanges got on board immediately and froze the movement of coins so it wouldn't be a live chain during the fork.

Hey guys! Mywl.lt is proud to be offering you guys the chance to have Whitecoin added to your community.

What is Mywl.lt?

Mywl.lt has been the official, secure online wallet for Digitalcoin, Argentum, and Securecoin for the past 6 months. 0 security issues and 100% up-time have made us stand out from the crowd.

Other web wallets offer similar services, but don't be fooled into depositing your coins to a site that can't be trusted!

We require 2 Factor Authentication for all logins, and email confirmation to create an account. This means that you can still remain anonymous, but have a wonderfully secure online wallet where you can have access to your coins from anywhere you have internet!

You can see our security explanation here: Mywl.lt/security

Want to send coins to a friend? With Mywl.lt you can send funds to any other user using just their account name!

Each users account gets 5 votes every 12 hours, and guests can vote once every 12 hours. Alternatively you can buy votes by donating at a rate of 0.0002 BTC per vote.

UPDATE REGARDING BLOCKCHAIN PRESERVATION

We must spread out the hash from ChunkyPools as it is a single point of failure on the network. We have setup a P2P pool to distrubute network hash.

To preserve the WhiteCoin Blockchain please point your miners to:

Looks like cryptsy - WC - deposits work !
yesterday i tried to Transfer some WC from wallet to cryptsy - was permanently unsuccesfull. but now my Balance appeard @ cryptsy

Well if that is the case then let the games begin.

Don't trust these posts. People will start to try to make deposits and then if it fails don't blame Cryptsy or any other exchange and certainly don't come here and spread FUD about Whitecoin!

No one from Whitecoin team is telling you that you can or is it safe to deposit or withdraw your coins from exchanges at this moment.

I suggest you wait for the official news of the fixed wallet released!

If you want to risk it and try to see anyway if you can deposit Whitecoin in any exchange contact the exchange first or send a very small amount like 5 Whitecoins to see if it checks and then report!

didn't want to troll....sorry for that. only want to share what i can see:
poloniex: completely frozen (no withdraw/deposit, no buying/selling inside poloniex)
bittrex: the orange "market is frozen"-flag is away. but i didn't test withdrawing/deposing nor buying/selling inside bittrex
mintpal: i can buy/sell inside, haven't tested if withdraw/deposit work
cryptsy: i can buy/sell inside, and my deposit from yesterday evening showed up some minutes ago.

As other Posters said: don't try to deposit / withdraw right now, could lead in a loss of your WC (i just tried it yesterday evening because i wanted to know if it works)

What's pretty mind boggling is that human beings are inherently non-transparent in their actions as is everything we've ever created yet in a world so underhanded and sketchy as cryptocurrencies people believe they have the right to complete transparency.

well arnt you a ray of sunshine today! haha

Lol I try but it's true people put too much emotion in cryptos, you just gotta step back and look at things from a sobered point of view sometimes.

WAR BC vs WC is bullshit and it's so wrong in crypto world ;/

Show me 68 million. Photo.

The guy is talking about MintPals wallet address.....it has 60+ million in it

You mean countless wallet addresses. Each account has it's own wallet. There is no "one wallet"

Well there is a wallet that has 68 million coins in it and keeps on growing. You tell me who it is...

I wish mine!

Although you could be right. It's possible. Exchanges are known to hoard coins... Up to 20% of cap. Still seems high.

Or it could be the exchange wallet holding all the coins deposited there.....
