Downloaded new wallet, verified .conf is as posted, not syncing and says 8156 blacks remaining. windows7 64 bit. What am I missing?
I am at the same ...... 8156 remaining. Just keep it on it should inch forward with each new block found.

UPDATE: started downloading blockchain. I simply closed it out and re-started the wallet.
UPDATE 2: was not successful downloading blockchain, now shows 8156 blocks remaining again. Restarted and will see what happens.

Just so you know, if this is successful, it will be one of only a few pos coins that has successfully accomplished a hard fork during pos phase, actually the only one that comes to mind is Black Coin so this may actually be the second, if it works. History in the making. *Crosses Fingers*
well SYNC broke records (twice) for hashrate during PoW. this is going to work like a charm.

The current block is 8209; We hit it a few hours ago. It's going to take a couple of hours per block until we hit the hardfork block (8212) and stake goes to 100%.

create /src/obj
create /src/obj/zerocoin (if still needed)
chmod +x /src/leveldb/build_detect_platform (flags should survive on github)
just a little annoying to do that by myself everytime :>

Once a block is found, the wallet should Sync but it might take a while. After the hard fork things should run quicker.
