Looks like we might have a miner who didn't upgrade. I went ahead and pushed an update to disconnect obsolete peers, but it looks like the block chain is no longer reorganizing and displaying multiple "UpdateTip" messages when the sequence count is > 3.

Let's go ahead and have everyone update to be sure.

EDIT: "errors" : "Warning: The network does not appear to fully agree! Some miners appear to be experiencing issues."

Let make this a priority. Thanks all

I like the direction this coin is going - regular updates, bitsquare, code constantly updated, etc - good work!

Appreciate it. Hoping to get a Windows build of Electrum out soon, but I'm having problems with the Windows client (at least I got it to build.) Currently following issues on the official Electrum repo.

Still trying to get on the Jaxx platform, and a new platform similar to Shapeshift called Coinvert https://coinvert.io but we really need community support in order to have a chance to get added to these platforms. Follow Argentum on twitter @argentum_arg and give a shoutout to @jaxx_io @coinvertio to add Argentum

Hard fork in <1 day, upgrade before it's too late.

We have 4-5 days left until the fork. Just a reminder, if you're not on 2.4 you'll be forked off the main chain. All the miners, exchanges, and explorers that I'm aware of, have upgraded.

I'm trying to get Argentum onto the Jaxx Wallet platform. This would give Argentum a lot of needed exposure. Tweet @jaxx_io

Argentum has great fundamentals, is fast, and stable. The barrier to entry is extremely low right now.

Looks like we have 50% upgraded to 2.4.

2.4 is a hard fork, so be sure to upgrade before 2,032,000

I have the Electrum client ready for testing. Please review the release notes and let me know what issues you find.

You will have to try to build yourself since I'm having problems with the Windows build script(s). Linux client is working fine.

the Cryptopia ARG/BTC market data was added to http://alt19.com.
The trading volume during the last 30 days is about $727.

Interesting chart. Thanks

According to https://chainz.cryptoid.info/arg/#!network we're at 43.8% upgraded to 2.4. It's not 100% accurate since it doesn't show all nodes, but it's a good guess. Don't forget to upgrade.

Is there a way to mine ARG step by step? I am new to the cryptocurrency world. It seems that argentum is very promising. Just a gut feeling.

I'd be happy to help you get started at Prohashing.  Send me a private message with what type of mining equipment you have and I'll help you get started with mining ARG.

Zpool.ca and prohashing.com should have guides to help get you started. If that isn't enough, I'll write up something for you later (I'll be busy for most of the day today.)

Currently prepping for version 2.4 which is a fork to increase the maximum blocks found per algo to 6.

Does anyone care to comment, or suggest something from their wishlist?

Just curious, what are the reasons for changing the block reward?

Not block reward. Maximum sequential blocks found per algorithm. Right now a scypt or sha miner can find 3 blocks in a row before the network will reject subsequent blocks until the other algorithm finds one. This helps balance rewards and can help provide security against one algo taking over, among other things.

A couple weeks ago I asked what effect the limitation has had on mining. Prohashing said they were seeing a 5% reject rate. I'm proposing to raise the limit to 6.

Ah right, I see. Thanks for the explanation.
