We do have plans to change to POSv3, we think that will make the network stronger as it will mean if you want to stake you need to keep the wallet open all of the time

If switching to PoW I would not be sure on SHA, would be worried that only the rich commercial miners would be able to mine, maybe one of the alternative algorithms would be better.

Agreed, but going back to PoW seems unlikely at this point. Even Etherum has plans to go to PoS.

Well, That's Crypto :-\
The continued communication is appreciated.

Supernet should be like a collection of coins with similar ideas.
If all supernet coins moved to sha256 and merge mined with BTC as SYS does then that ensures a continued strong network.
The more wallets Supernet coins are in due to a merge mined situation the more exposure the project gets.

Just a thought,

Hi Bitstar Community!

Let me introduce myself. I'm the wallet coder of Bitstar Coin.
Bitstar_coin can confirm, as so can a couple of others that were in the Bitstar channel on supernet slack ( http://slackinvite.supernet.org/ ) last night ( GMT+1 ) when I outed myself as being the wallet dev.

I thought it's about time I personally 'show' myself to the community, as we're facing a new phase of Bitstar. This is my attempt to open better communication towards you, our community.

What we've been working in the last couple weeks / months:

Researching and a lot of testing to replace the current wallet codebase with something new. Our goal was to swap the code, and keep the blockchain intact. As we didn't want to do any coinswap.
A nice challenge, in which I am very confident we will succeed in.

Current state of this new code base:

The wallet completely syncs from scratch, and works with the current wallet.dat file. First phase success!
Next is the PoS part. That's where we're currently working on, merging our current wallets' PoS code with the new codebase.
Not fully functional yet, but we're getting close. And I'm going to keep you all updated on the progress.

Meanwhile we're also working on a new website

I can only say, we're working as hard as we can.

For quick chats or 1:1, please join us on in the Bitstar channel on supernet slack ( http://slackinvite.supernet.org/ )

I can also confirm. Thank you for all your hard work @Bitstar_Svliege!

Sounds good to me!

I hope that BTS be listed on Bittrex soon. When that happens, will invest heavily in your coin.  Smiley

Thanks @Bitstar_Svliege, I can confirm this is the Bitstar wallet coder and that he is working really hard to get this new wallet up and running without a fork or any coin swap.

I'm curious.

What is "BtlStar"? a new currency to support BitStar development?

I'd like to know why "listunspent" shows the same address several times?
As I can see, the "scriptPubKey" parameter differs, but I don't know what it's all about...
How can I have only once each address with "listunspent"?

They are individual inputs, there can be hundreds or even thousands depending on how many inputs etc you have.
OK, understood. Thanks.
I've sent all BITS to one new address.
Is there a command to show the balance of each address of the wallet?
