Well I made some good trades there so for me it was not a complete failure. But i did also loose money in the Banx shares.

Only 3.5 btc on the buy side and 10,156 btc worth for sale 

But... 10,045 of the 10,156 btc worth of Blake are for sale at a price of 1btc per blc 

And only 750,000 on the sell book and less than 3 million in Bittrex customer wallets, so hard to buy 

But there are still about 40,000 for sale under 0.00000500 

I analyzed - http://mapofcoins.com/bitcoin# and remembered the era of Blake. Now somehow merged with the bad coins.

yes was atomic trade then banx then cryptomic. Cryptomic is still closing down no trades but you can empty out your wallets til the end of the month.

I don't think re branding would do much regardless of when or why. I say keep the Blakecoin name, as it is, what it is.

I would like to see a faucet or something done to give away some BLC/PHO around the time of the launch, I would be willing to donate.

Rebranding Blakecoin just for hype is a bad idea, but rebranding for a good reason might be worth considering. I've thought of suggesting it before, but my reasons are pretty minor. The name "Blakecoin" is descriptive (it's a blake256 based crypto coin) but not particularly creative and doesn't really roll off the tongue easily. It's fine in text, but saying "Blakecoin" is a small challenge in enunciation due to the two successive "k" sounds. Plus it's easily confused with Blackcoin (however Blackcoin launched after BLC, so maybe THEY should change their name). That said, I could go either way, keep it as Blakecoin or rebrand it, but if there were to be a rebrand, it should coincide with a major development (like the launch of the MMO beta) so that its not just a hype mechanism.

On another note, it's always funny to see BD sass the random people that occasionally make such comments here. Maybe he's just trying to fend off the trolls, but I think he's trying to keep Blakecoin as low profile as possible until the games are ready, so he can mine a lot of BLC easily. (If thats the case, sorry for exposing your plot BD, I've been doing the same thing though, just with buying BLC instead of mining).

It's up to you to buy or not. right now there is potential is that when the FPS and MMO games come out there will be a use for these coins. Merge mining means you can get all the coins for no extra GPU cost.

Will hype when there something concrete (would that mean it's not hype?)

At some point quality will start to outweigh hype in the coin market, maybe when people start to research coins themselves instead of relying on what pumpers say, then Blakecoin should do okay.

rebrand just to get more people hmm think many other coins may do this name/brand change but not here its bs without a good reason to do so!!!   *note not worked out so well for some big name cryptos rebranding lol  

easier and more effective way is just to add more coins to merge but guess you did not think of that because maybe you think one coin rather than a family of coins  

still plenty of room to merge for more coins but finding non scam devs is hard + they need a reason for use case which can be even harder to make happen

currently there are more than enough blockchains in the merge for many more projects/platforms/services than are currently being worked on  

You guys should consider a rebrand, get new blood in here.

I've opened an account and put some BLC and LIT up for sale. they Have UMO but it's in maintenance right now.

0 trade fees since they are very new.

Will try to get the rest of Blake family coins up.

will speak with them once the new wallets are in testing and ask for bbtc/elt in voting list *still its up to them what gets added to voting list


Currently:
BLC wallet 0.12.99 ~Oct *compiling but not yet suitable for testing had a couple of db errors  
Merge wallet 0.12.99 ~Nov-Dec *issues with aux, code is in but needs sorting out non functional atm  

right now am doing some other work in city for a few weeks so time will be split and support may take me a little longer to reply

next few week have to also renew all the ssl certs for sites which is a bit of a pain been looking at lets encrypt as an automated alternative would anyone have problems with that?

lets encrypt is supported by most browsers/platforms and improving see list here currently using globalsign and startcom *may not be transparent to browser as cloudflare uses comodo

game wise still converting projects to unity 5.4 bit of a pain as always but from testing really noticeable frame rate increase and shorter loads, they also changed some apis again  

still best one for over six months so going to freeze at 5.4.1f1 for releases *no eta will email invites when feel ready and have time

I can vouch for Blue, you buy BLC because it's not a scam and the dev is working on real use cases for the coin with zero hype.  The market cap is like $10k right now.  Such a bargain.

You might hold for years.  I've been holding for 2.5 years and haven't sold one.  But some day, you will be glad you held.
