Yes you get orphaned blocks in PoS.

It's an analogous situation to PoW: part of the network accepts one version of the chain, and your newly mined (and un-matured) block is on another version. Naturally, the network syncs up and your block is left orphaned.

No one can guarantee the price, whether it goes up or down.
*IMO- The only thing traders can do (who are currently trading Block) Is at least have a general consensus (amongst the holders) and sell if possible @ i.e.$ 0.50 cents a piece. I know its a free market and you cannot control who sells what and at what price.
At least if there is a coalition amongst block traders, we can get the price up to a respectable amount (stand our ground). * This in a matter of weeks

Why transactions that take 30 seconds to be safe to be spent are called instant I don't know, but I do know if XC was to try and pull a stunt like that there would be 100 trolls with their pitchforks out.
